In the morning I went to Jalan kuari relocation works to witness mandrel test for TNB underground ducting. Mandrel test is a test to ensure the dimension of the ducting are as the required specification and to ascertain that the ducting are clear of any obstruction. The test is done using a mandrel of certain diameters being pulled from end to end of the ducting using a rope.

Today M&E team went for a site walk with TNB at Kg Boyan (Jalan kuari) site. The purpose of today's site walk is to discuss on the overhead cable relocation method and to seek approval from TNB of the proposed relocation method. some of the proposed method are modified; overhead line besides local houses are replaced with underground for safety reason.

Went to B52 junction to oversee water pipe installation by How Thong construction (sub contractor). From today's work i have learn some piping valve type and its function. Pipe laid was 200mm2 mild steel, jointed using Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).
