Today me and mr Tajul went to Ampang intake for our weekly flow rate test. Before test were conducted, we went to the dam to inspect and service the pipe filter. We removed the sand barrier used during dam repairs.
In the afternoon we conducted the flow rate test, it is observed that the pipe flow rate were similar as last week's test. Method of flow rate testing used is the same as before

In the morning I did some data processing and calculation for the flow rate test conducted yesterday. Then I went to Ampang spur road to oversee a trenching and cable laying works by SEP. Next, I assisted Mr tajul to repair temporary tower lights at jalan bukit belacan. Problems found on the tower light are:
- Minor wiring complication
- One of the electrical ballast malfunctioned.
The mentioned problem are troubleshooted on site.
An electrical ballast is a device placed in line with the load to limit the amount of current in an electrical circuit. It may be a fixed or variable resistor.

Site work on Bridge 12 to oversee a telco optic cable relocation works by BUMIDAN subcontractor. However, they failed to show up as their lorry broke down.
For optic cable relocation, it is mandatory to replace at least 2 kilometers of the cable. relocation cannot be done by part I.E. cut and joint portion of the 2 kilometer cable. This regulation were set by TM to avoid too many jointing on fibre optic cable; as in optic cable jointing, each joint have a minor losses.
