Week 3

Site visit at Azwen valley with package 2 supervisor. A user water pipe were reportedly obstructing land reclamation process for main line construction. We relocated and diverted the current water pipe alignment to pass via a culvert.

Night work for DSR at Jalan bukit belacan (Ampang interchange). Learned to toolbox brief to workers on the work carried and safety procedures. DSR result report are checked and verified, official report by subcon due next week.

Went to Ampang intake for mini dam filter improvement. We begin by fabricating a pair of new filters to be installed at mini dam 2. Next, we proceeded to mini dam 1 for filter inspection and service, we also made a slight modification on the filter for easier future service then we proceeded to mini dam 2 to install the new filter. However, it is found that the dam was flooded with sand. 

In the afternoon, we returned to mini dam 2 with labor worker to clear the sands. we also did some minor pipe position correction as some of the pipe were dislocated by the river current.

Went to Jalan bukit belacan (Ampang interchange) for a site walk with M&E engineer and subcontractor. To find missing manhole based on drawing and to plan for upcoming DSR work.
