Week 7 part 2

Today M&E team went to Azwen valley to supervise TNB relocation works. Earlier notice of power down time were distributed for the relocation works. Overhead cable crossing the main line were relocated to an underground cables installed before. TNB representative are also present to supervise the work as it involve power termination. 160 Amp black box were installed at Overhead-Underground jointing for easy future maintenance.

In the morning M&E team and C&S manager went for a site walk to Jalan bukit belacan to discuss on overhead river crossing telecom cable. The earlier proposal for underground crossing using Horizontal Direct Drilling (HDD) were reconsidered due to cost issue. Ground level and pole to pole span length need to be considered for overhead crossing.

In the afternoon I received utility layout assignment from Mr Hazwan. The layout covers on the utilities present and the authority involved regarding M&E works in every locations.

In the morning we finished the Utility layout setup and presented to M&E manager. Then, Mr hazwan requested me to draft a Bills of quantity M&E TNB works for package 1&2.
