Week 8

Today I did some documentation works. I.e. warning letter to SEP engineering for their non compliance to standard work procedure and rules. From the letter I have learned some TNB regulation for overhead cable works, i.e. type of ladder should be used and competency workmanship. Safety for TNB cable works is crucial as it involve lethal voltage.

Today I went to oversee PN10 pipe laying process at Sangkot Villa. PN10 is a type of high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe typically used for standard TNB underground cables. Due to upcoming RS wall installation at site, the pipe need to be laid 2.6 metre deep as the RS wall may be buried 2 metre deep. Jointing of the PN10 pipe used are socket joint, pre-made socket joint are installed at pipe end.

Today I studied overhead cable manual by TNB. Also I've learned some basics autocad command.
