ACTIVITY

(1) At 8 am 

I started my first day in week 5 doing copy and paste drawing. The software involve is only nanoCAD. The task is provided, but i only need to copy the drawing followed the scale 300x600 mm. The drawing is as followed.

(2) At 10 am

I had meeting with manager, Chan Chee Leong regarding the task that should be done end of this month. As i was started copying the drawing that morning, i only showed half of my work which one third of the drawing. In the middle of the meeting, manager explain what should i did and what should not. Based on the drawing, i should not continue draw all the picture as i need to redraw followed the scale stated.

After i finish redraw, i started transfer my drawing into Ucancam software to add some adjustment and add simulation. The simulation involve is profile machining and 3D corner engraving. The process stuck in the middle of editing because the scale is different even though copying 100%. So, it takes longer times to finish it than expected. 

Not forgoten, during meeting, manager had been asked about last week project which required me to machined the MDF board. I got less comment regarding my project. it might because my project has low artistic aspect. So, i need to work hard and accept challenges to be outstanding person. 

ACTIVITY

(1) At 8 am

Still in the week where i need to finish 5 task before end of this month. So, on this second day, i continue copying and pasting the drawing from nanoCAD. The drawing involve second and third part of the leaf. The copying of this thing required a lot of patience as it has a lot of undimensional size of leaf. After done this part, i continue transfer all of it into Ucancam software. The process are the same as before where i need to add some adjustment and add simulation towards it. 

The process seems simple but required a lot of time to finish it. After done this two part, i need to combine monday's work with today's work. So overall i need to reedit again for this three part together. As the scale for one part is 300 x 600 mm, so the scale getting bigger with 1000 X 600 mm

ACTIVITY

(1) At 8 am

I planned on this day to do another task which is task no 3 but then i had issue with solidwork. So this task cannot be done as what i planned. I continue reedit the task before, fulfill the requirement and the standard. 

(2) At 2 pm

I started reinstalling solidwork 2019 and 2020 but still does not get the result. But then, i try to understand the concept for the turtle which need to do by layering. There are overall 9 layer of 3mm thick of mdf board. Before machining, the basic step is copying the drawing. To get the exact shape and differentiate of the layer, different colour is use. After settle everything, i need to combine and extrude of 3mm thick in solidwork. So, i need to understand the basic concept very well to make it done.

ACTIVITY

(1) At 8 am 

This morning, i try copy one layer of the turtle in nanocad and then transfer in solidwork to be extrude for 3mm thick. 

(2) At 3.30 pm

I had important meeting regarding the task. The meeting is to give comment about the drawing and simulation. I had a very bad feedback as simulation is not satisfy manager preference. So i need to change the way simulation will be run. The changes include profile machining and 3D corner engraving. Also from that, i know that i still lack on basic matter. I need to catch up and understand well.

About the drawing, everything just nice and only certain part need to be change include shape of the leaf and adding some chamfer.

During the meeting also discussed about another three task. For my part is turtle. I need to draw turtle and then combine the layer of turtle either in Autocad or solidwork. Based on my preference, the best way is to use solidwork.

ACTIVITY

(1) At 8 am

Main agenda is to machine our own product which from the second project. Before that, i need to touch up on the drawing as the last touch up was the week before. This full week was fill with finishing the new task.

(2) At 10 am 

We start cleaned the area of machine. The condition is quite dirty with dusk from mdf board. The dusk is then suck up by the vacuum and only certain part is sweep. But there are still a lot of dusk remain. After that, we set up the MDF board. Then start machining. As time running too fast, only Fisa's part are done that day. I could not done my part and plan to continue on the next week.
