SLIDE PRESENTATION
OBJECTIVE
To expose internship student for actual sample products fabrication and process planning with CNC router machine, Ucancam V11 software, factory equipment and tooling. Through the process, they may able to perform from a fresh new beginner to a technical person to manipulate and understanding the process flow of a product design, practice to judge and analysis the best process, base on the actual machine, software and tooling limitation and ability to suit the product.
ROUGH SCHEDULE
Week 1
- Introduction of company.
Company background. Company history. Vision and mission Organization chart. Details of supervisor. Safety rule.
- General function operation Procedure for CNC router.
General function how to link machine function with programming. Introduction machine zero point, home position, work piece zero point. Understanding for machine zero point and work piece zero point. Hands on practice.
Week 2
- General function operation procedure for CNC router
How to run G code program, know about cutter type and cutting speed, know machine ability and limitation, How to fix material on table and type of material.
- Process planning for machining part sample
Number of machining process involve.
Week 3
- Ucancam V11 software programing
Introducing 2D and 3D CAD, video tutorial on CAD function, add on expanation by suervisor, explorer drawing function in 2D.
Week 4
- Ucancam V11 software programming
Introducing CAM function, video tutorial on CAM function, add on explanation by supervisor.
Explore programming function, show sample making with CNC machine and software, link process planning for machining with software cutting strategy, know the machine ability and limitation.
Week 5
- Brainstorming concept and topic to design
- Propose, discuss and choose sample to be make
- Preparation sketching, presentation and discussion

- Drawing of main design and proposal
