28/9/2020 (Monday)

Working time: 9:00am – 6:30pm

  • I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:30am.
  • Then, I updated the data on process cycle time.
    • As usual, the data is extracted from Inari database and further analysed using Microsoft Office Excel.
    • I utilized Macro to help me reduce the time in performing the analyses.
    • After finished with the analyses, I was asked to arrange the data in presentation form.
  • After lunch break, I worked on the TV issue.
    • Muizz from the IT Department and I went to SMT Department to settle down the TV connection problem.
    • Muizz helped me on setting the Wifi connection along with the cable connections.
    • The TV finally was able to display content as per requested.
    • Thus, this last TV conclude that the task on this TV issue given by Mr KL Tang was completely done.

 

29/9/2020 (Tuesday)

Working time: 9:00am – 6:30pm

  • I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:30am.
  • Then, I helped Kak Ida on her data for SMT Department.
  • KL Tang asked me to check on all TV display because there was a report telling that one of the TV is off.
  • I went to both departments to check on all TVs.
    • I found out that one of the TV has blocked Internet connection and one of the TV was on sleep mode.
    • I went to Muizz from the IT team to help me unblock the TV connection.
    • After that I went to refresh the TV and the TV displayed well.
    • As for the TV on the sleep mode, I set the screen saver to display screen 24/7.
  • After lunch break, Mr KL Tang assigned me on a simple task.
    • He asked me to go to the store room to fetch the tapes he ordered.
  • Later, I went to SMT Department to help two internship trainees on the QI Scope.
    • They asked me to help them to measure a few lots using the new machine.
    • I applied the knowledge I got from Kak Ida and taught them to use the machine.
  • Then, I went to MCOB Department B with Kak Ida.
    • I walked around the department with Kak Nurul and Kak Fatin to learn on the issue they were carrying out.
    • Before going back, Kak Fatin handed me a sample reject to be given to Mr KL Tang in the office.

 

30/9/2020 (Wednesday)

Working time: 8:30am – 6:00pm

  • I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:30am.
  • After that, I helped Kak Ida on something related to SMT Department.
    • I tracked down the lots that has low yield and went to SMT Department to gather information on the reject causes.
    • I met with Kak Syahira, a Quality Engineering and asked her to explain more about the rejects.
  • After lunch break, Mr KL Tang assigned me on a new task.
    • I have to escort a vendor name Mr Ong Ti to the ISL Department.
    • As soon as Mr Ong arrived, I fetched him at the lobby and we straight walk to the respective Department.
    • I watched him set up an AOI Machine.
    • He taught me a few basic things on how to handle the machine.

 

1/10/2020 (Thursday)

Working time: 8:30am – 6:00pm

  • I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:30am.
  • After that, I helped Kak Ida on something related to SMT Department as I did yesterday.
    • I tracked down the lots that has low yield and went to SMT Department to gather information on the reject causes.
  • After lunch break, Mr Shazni asked me to help him on some measurements.
    • He handed me 3 BATES Panel to be measure.
    • His request was to measure the position of the lasermark printed on each panel.
    • He also asked me to measure the actual location of the lasermark prints.
    • There was some alignment issue he was working on. Thus, having these measurements would help him analyse the offset of each lasermark.
    • I wrote a program to measure the marks as requested.
    • The program will take around 50 minutes to identify the lasermark position and another 15 minutes to measure the actual position due to the high quantity of the units on BATES Panel.
    • Therefore, by the end of today, I only managed to measure 1 panel and will continue to run the program and measure tomorrow.

 

2/10/2020 (Friday)

Working time: 8:30am – 6:00pm

  • I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:30am.
  • After that, I helped Kak Ida on something related to SMT Department as I did yesterday.
    • I tracked down the lots that has low yield and went to SMT Department to gather information on the reject causes.
  • Later, Mr KL Tang assigned me to go to the store to fetch some ESD tapes for him.
  • After lunch break, I went to the OGP Machine to continue on Mr Shazni’s lasermark measurement.
    • Both panels were done before 4pm.
    • I arranged the data and gave to Mr Shazni for further analyses.
  • Then, I was given task to teach some internship trainee on the basic use of the OGP Machine.
  • Before I went back, Mr KL Tang assigned me to update on the cycle time for this week’s lots.
  • I gathered the data from the database and further analysed them using Microsoft Office Excel as usual.
