Highlights

While I was doing the internship in Inari Technology Sdn Bhd specifically in P13 for 12 weeks, there are a few things I would like to highlight that can be pointed out which can give encouragement for the employee.

Firstly, Inari P13 has a very comfortable and clean working environment. This huge company has a very systematic schedule when it comes to cleaning the compound, cafeteria, pantry, toilet and in the office. Hence, the condition and the environment are well controlled. Since we are in the COVID-19 Pandemic, the areas are fully sanitized and is sanitized regularly by the cleaners. Also, they provided the hand sanitisers at almost every corner of the building.

Next, all the employees are very friendly and willing to give a hand for those who needed help. For example as an intern, there are a lot of thing that I have zero knowledge on. However, I did not hesitate to approach the operators, technicians and engineers nearby for guidance. They will be very happy to share information with me and make sure that I understand the thing I asked about thoroughly.

Other than that, I was exposed with the working environment that involves many kinds of people from different races and nation. Most operators in SMT and MCOB Department are from Indonesia. Although the slang and language they use is different from us, they offered me help with an open heart. For me, Indonesian operators are the best of friend when it comes to helping me out. Moreover, I did not detect any racism while working in this company. For me, it is a good implementation of 1 Malaysia. Most of the engineers there are Chinese but they always try their best to communicate in English to make us understand. Personally, my supervisor has showed me the importance of understanding cultures from other races. Mr KL Tang always asked me if I have already performed my Zohor prayer before he assigned me with some tasks after my lunch break.

Last but not least, working under supervision of Mr KL Tang is what I like the most. He treated me as a junior engineer instead of an internship. This has helped open up many opportunities to learn new things and knowledges. As a result, I managed to improve my soft skills as an engineering student and also shaped me better as a human-being.
