Week 10 (20/9/2020 - 26/9/2020)

21/9/2020 (Monday)

Working time: 8:30am – 6:00pm

• I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:00am.
• After that, I completed the data updates on the cycle time of last week’s lot.
• Then, I learnt to do MACRO using Microsoft Office Excel from Kak Nurul.
• Regarding the PC transportation, I contacted Mr Katrul from P21.
  • He said that the PC requested from Mr KL Tang will be shipped out this evening.
• After lunch break, I went to SMT Department with Kak Ida and Kak Nurul.
  • We went to inspect the new machine, QI Machine.
  • As this is a new machine, I was asked to verify the accuracy of the program in the new machine.
  • I wrote a program in the OGP Machine that ran through the dummy PCB and the data obtained was compared to the output data of the QI Machine.

22/9/2020 (Tuesday)

Working time: 8:30am – 6:00pm

• I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:00am.
• After that, I completed the data updates on the cycle time of last week’s lot.
• Later, I went to SMT Department at OGP Machine.
  • ST Chin asked me to teach her to use the program I wrote her last week.
  • However, there was some changes that needed to be made because ST Chin requested another measurement.
  • Therefore, I adjusted the program and asked her to meet me after lunch break.
• Then, I went to P13 store to claim the PC and table arrived from P21 yesterday.
  • I borrowed the trolley from SMT Department store with the help of Mr PW Leong.
  • Mr Leong said to ask for Taufiq’s help after lunch break to set up the PC.
• After lunch break, I met ST Chin at the OGP Machine.
  • I taught her to use the new program I have written this morning.
• After that, I went to meet Taufiq to settle on the PC set up.
  • However, Taufiq was occupied and I was asked to come back tomorrow to settle this set up.
  • Before going back, I helped Kak Nurul to settle with the presentation slide for cycle time for last week’s data.

Working time: 8:30am – 6:00pm

• I started my day by updating the daily yield as per request by Mr KL Tang before 9:00am.
• After that, Mugesh from the SMT Department came to the office to ask me for help.
  • He requested me to help two intern trainees on how to use the OGP Machine.
  • They wanted to measure the tip of the nozzle for the printing machine.
  • I taught them to write the program for the requested measurements and monitor them run the program.
• After lunch break, I met with Taufiq to settle the PC set up problem.
  • Taufiq helped me set up the PC at the requested location which is nearby TV 1 SMT Department.
  • After that, I went to the ESD team to help me setting up the ESD mat for the rack.
• Later, Kak Ida requested me to measure a few things regarding the QI Machine accuracy comparison.
  • I went to the OGP Machine and wrote a program to measure the requested measurement.
  • The data gathered were carefully arranged and sent in Microsoft Office Excel format.
