ASSIGNMENT 1: BROCHURE AND CGPA
NALI
One of the booths that I visited during the New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI) is MyBioRobotics Kit that is presented by Azneezal Ar-Rashid Mohd Ramli and Dr. Mohamad Termizi Borhan¸ the booth was mainly focused on Biology subjects for Form 5 students and it can helps them to understand the subject better. Mr Azneezal came up with this new idea on how to teach or explain Biology subjects to form 5 students, his idea is to produce a learning kit using every day’s items such as scissor, straw, A4 paper, rubber band, cello tape and many more, the purpose of this learning kit is to replicate the muscle movements of an animal such as birds and worm so that form 5 student can see how the movements is really is.

REFLECTIONS
REFLECTIONS
There are so many thing that i have learned throughout this semester about Information system and Technology. One of it is i learned how to assemble a computer and how to disassemble. Besides that i also gather many information regarding IT including the Internet of Things and with a useful industry visit to CICT and MAB helps to know more about how servers work. I also gained so many valuable experience with my groupmates Haikal Aiman, Fitri Zulkarnain and Naqib Rafiqi as we work together for various type of assignment and project. With this substantial amount of group project, it taught me how to work together in a group and how to communicate with each other and the most important thing is this subject widen my knowledge about this never ending information about Information System. I am so grateful to be able to learn this subject and be under Mr Hairudin's class for this whole semester.

INDUSTRY VISIT 1: CICT
The industrial visit is kicked off with a talk about Centre for Information & Communication Technology (CICT) delivered by Mohd Zahari Bin Zainal Abidin in CICT seminar hall level 4 at 3p.m in the evening. Based on the definition that I quoted from Mr. Mohd Zahari CICT is a support unit that offers and delivers ICT services for the university (staffs and students) He talked about the facilities and infrastructure that is offered in CICT. He also gives useful advice during the talk such as what to do when your laptop has a problem with slow internet connection, and what to do when you have a problem with your matric card and all internet related problems. He also explained about how to use a virtual private network to access into UTM’s library from outside of the campus. The example of facilities that is offered by CICT is 3 project discussion areas, printing, scanning, CD and DVD burning, 100 computers and specialize multimedia and content authoring production lab (CSMAL). The dress code for students in CICT is strictly observed only smart casual and formal attire is allowed and matric card is compulsory. There are plenty of software that are available incict such as Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, color, aperture, motion, Iword, Ilite, and Adobe Suit. There are three ways to reach CICT if you encounter any problem, number one is go to CICT building, Block D04, Lingkaran Ilmu or you can go to their webite cict.utm.my or you can call them 075532126.

INDUSTRIAL TALK : IOT
INTRODUCTION
On the 18th of November, IOT Open Day was held in Room 221, P03 at the Faculty of Electrical, there are four available slots four us to attend to gain more knowledge about the internet of things or as known as IOT. The first speaker whose named is Mr Syahrul Hafidz Suid presented a topic about IOT (predictive maintenance gets an extreme makeover). He is an Enterprise Consultant at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and his slot start at 11a.m until 12pm. The next speaker is a Solution Design Architect from Maxis Berhad. He gives a Transaction Based Networking and his talk is from 12pm to 1pm. The third speaker touched on things that are related to IOT (Technology and Application) is Ir. Dr. Hafizal Mohamad from MIMOS Berhad. On the room besides, Dr Thomal Ooi from Intel Corporation gives a talk about Industry 4.0 (purpose, benefit and promises) on the same slot as Ir. Dr. Hafizal from 2.30pm to 4.00pm. Besides seminar, there are a lot of other activities on that day. For an instance, there are posters, exhibition, IOT Hands-On Workshop for high school students and not to forget sales, demo from the related companies. Our group have discussed and decided that the first speaker attracted us the most. Mr Syahrul Hafidz gives a broad exposure about Internet of Things and he explained perfectly how IOT are really are. He also shared his knowledge and impactful experience to help us understand clearly.
ASSIGNMENT 2: PC ASSEMBLE
ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING A CPU
On the 21st of October, Sir Hairudin instructed us to go to 322.02 at level 3 in N28 so that we can learn how to assemble and disassemble there. We are split according to a group of 4 or 5 people and each every one of us plays a different role in completing task. There are several technicians to guide and assist us during the class. Our task is to disassemble the CPU using a provided screwdriver and after we finish disassemble it we have to assemble it back in one piece, not only that we have to make sure that the computer can boot up. Here’s a step by step explanation on how to assemble a CPU. First, you need to install the motherboard, lower the motherboard into the case until it aligns with the I/O bezel and tightens the screws. Next, we need to install the case fan on top of the motherboard to cool down the system. After that, we need to put the power supply in its place and we must perfectly position it so that it would be locked in its place. Next, put the RAM in its slot, make sure you put the RAM in its correct side so that the CPU will work, press gently on both ends of the RAM until it makes a clicking sounds. After we install the RAM, we put the hard drive and optical drive in its slot and then screw it its place. Then, we connect all the cables into its slot, we can construct the motherboard manual to make sure we connect it to the right place because incorrect connections can damage components.

DESIGN THINKING
1.Introduction
They creep, crawl, hop, jump, scamper, slither, fly – you name it. Some have fur, others feathers, maybe armored scales. And they’re generally things you don’t want around - that’s why they’re called pests. One definition of a pest is “a plant or animal detrimental to humans or human concerns (as agriculture or livestock production)”; another – “one that pesters or annoys; nuisance.” Think about the things you generally regard as a pest around the house and garden - ants, rats, flies, snails, spiders, mosquitoes, fleas, gophers and moles, deer or weeds. Those are the visible ones. There are also the invisible microbes that cause disease and can wreak havoc in your garden. They may all fit the description of something that you consider detrimental to you, your family, your pets or your plants – they’re pests.
It’s not enough for pests just to be gross, weird and freaky. No, pests need to make even more problems for humans. Pests are kind of overachievers that way. Some of these problems can be a major annoyance–not to mention expensive!
Every kind of common pest in Malaysia can do its own unique form of damage to your home and health. If you have any of these pests, keep an eye out for ways you can protect yourself and your property from their destructive tendencies.
