      4.Check the hydrostatic value

The error is calculated by comparing the designer value from the stability booklet and the software (Veritastability) value.

Based on the IACS, the tolerances of displacement is 2% whereas the tolerances of LCB is 1%.

**Check by using excel (The design draft =2.35m+-1m is more important)

Since the tolerance around the draft is within the range, the ship shape can be used.

18 July

(Wednesday)

  • Given drawing (structural profile and section detail) by En Sharul

  • Teach by Shah and En Sharul of the compartment.

Manage compartment ( Click the tank used in the ship)

  • manage group.GIF

  • Check the capacity by comparing to the capacity plan in the stability booklet.

20 July

(Friday)

  • The overall length of the ship is 36m. Any ship of 24m in length or over should apply weather criteriomn. (wind and rolling criterion)
  • Hence, the windage area is drawn by scale down the drawing
