This project was one of assignment that we need to accomplish as one of course mark in TITAS subject. This course is under DATO' DR Nor Hafizah Musa. At first, we need to find one project that can give impact to university. I was appointed as a leader for this project. There are 5 members including me for this project. This project is named as "WE ARE ALL ONE" After a thorough discussion, we as a team decided to choose Tadika Seri Kirthis as a place for our volunteer project. This place is near to our hostel, just about 10 minutes walk. In this project, we hope that :
- We can give a support in renovating the school.
- Build a teamwork between the volunteer and the teacher for this program
- Offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them
- Provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge

What you should do if you are on semester break for a week? Try new activities! But i am not doing alone this time, yeah with my roommates in matriculation. Before this, i ever know that Gua Tempurung provide package for caving haha so lame. I was once went there durig my school trip and it make me fascinated because my first time enter a huge cave. I decided to go there again after i know they provided packages for a extreme activities so i want to do it with my roommates. I arrived around 8.30 a.m.
My roommates from left; Suryana, Me, Saffa and Ayu.
Then, we went first to the counter to register. There were four packages provided and we decided to take 3rd stage not 4th. So we need to pay RM30/person. Fortunately, one of the rangers(Uncle Lan) asked us to join them for 4th stage without additional pays! And guess what? We did not prepare complete tools like torchlight, drinks and so on. So we only bought torchlight (low quality one but they do the good job) over water.
The first 20 minutes of the tour was lame(maybe because i went there long ago). We followed the concrete path up and down stairs in the sauna conditions. With nothing interesting to look at and no chat about the history of Gua Tempurung or any fun facts i thought the tour was going to be a hhmmmm.
Luckily that all changed when we got to the end of the 1 km concrete walkway. Our guide told us to turn off flashlights momentarily. When everything went pitch black that was the cue for adventure time.
Gua Tempurung cave is over 3 km long, 1.9 km of which we would be exploring. The largest limestone cave in Peninsula Malaysia is made up of five different domes. Each unique with different:
- stalactites & stalagmites
- water levels
- limestone and marble content
- temperature
Before we know it, we were shimming through small gaps, crawling through the rivers, jumping over gaps in the path and sliding on our bums and down levels. Our Gua Tempurung caving experience was now at the gnarly level we were looking for. I thought that i will died there because it really challenged me physically and mentally.
Yay for finding the light.
Two hours later we found light. It wasn't where we entered the cave but the turn around point. It's only 40% actually. We got a 15 minutes break and this gave me a chance to see just how big the cave was (see photo below).
Gives you an idea the size of the cave.
Time to head back into the cave. It's crazy to think we went back a different way, i saw no alternative routes on the way through. That's why you have a rangers i guess.
There was an adrenaline pumping moment on the way back. At one section you slide on your bum with no chance reclaiming your grip. You only slide for a couple metres but the rangers definitely needs to be there to catch you or else 8/10 people are going to break something! Here, i really depend 100% with the rangers and people there, i trust them to catch me down there *crying.
I don’t have the picture, so use from google.
After 6 hours of intense sweating and maneuvering our body like a pretzel we exited the cave.
My group that had a great teamwork!
Our new friend, Tom from Germany that worked at Singapore as an electrical engineer while further his master. He really helped me a lot in the cave, thanks Tom!
Our Gua Tempurung caving experience was epic. There was around 9 of us in the group and everyone had smiles hidden their exhaustion and wet clothes. I highly recommend this tour.
And one more, we were survived without drinks any water! I do really thank to my great group because they helped us a lot. There was one chinesse man in our group said that he really respected us because we did it until the end without exhausted and we do really had so much fun and totally enjoyed. So, for those who has not been here, go now and feel it!
I really miss you guys and hope we can meet soon other time.
With our rangers that guide us, Uncle Lan and Abang K.

University is the most difficult, stressful, beautiful, amazing, terrifying experience. I just completed my second semester for first year, and I am about to walk into my second year yayyy. Over this month long break, I have had time to think about all of the things that I went through and learned over the course of my first semester at the UTM.
1. First and foremost, i learned two course that new to me which were programming and autocad. For me, i more prefer autocad because i love to imagine things so it make easier to draw the object in 2D or 3D. But, i also can catch up for programming even it is hard at the beginning. I hope that i can use this skills when i got a job one day.
This is one of my assignment that i have submitted for autocad.
While, this is coding that i did for my task given by lecturer.
2. I love making slideshows because I am more of a graphic person rather than having to create sentences/writing. I always voluntereed to do this kind of task. And i really enjoyed when i edited video for assignment. These are some of my works (i printscreen the cover of the slideshow):
2. You have to manage stress as it comes. There's no way to prepare for it, and when it hits you, it hits you like a truck.
3. Introducing yourself to your lecturer is still important even if your class only consist of 10 people haha.
4. Do something that you enjoy every single day. Don't just stay at your room scrolling instagram, twitter and so on...ughh please do something that can make you remember your university's life. Even if it's small, take a second to breathe and remember that everything you are doing is in preparation for something bigger.
5. DREAM BIG AND MAKE IT HAPPEN!
6. Volunteering is IMPORTANT. Even if you aren't applying to anything like palapis, then volunteering is important to feel good. Make a difference in your community. Inspire yourself. Get out of your comfort zone.
7. Try new things. As im in KL, i always try to eat new food every week with my collagues, ride public transport, learn new extreme games and mountains more.
8. And, finally, journal your feelings. Take some time out to de-stress. Don't bottle things up; talk to people! Your emotional wellbeing is just as important as your physical, spiritual, and mental stability. The first semester of university is hard. Adjust to the change as it comes, and you will be just fine.
I’m quite excited to see how not just my next semester but the next two years of my university life will take me. University has actually showed me what I’m capable of, so I’m hoping this attitude will stay with me for a long time yet.
Here, i attached some slideshows that i have done throughout my first year above.

I'm always eager to be a student of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since i was in secondary school. That was my dream! And what do you feel when UPU result stated that you got your first choice which was my favorite university?! Oh my, i want to tell the world that i really happy that day. So excited! Same goes to my mom when i told her i got what i want. But honestly, i felt a little bit nervous at the same time because the course that i took.
"With who i am gonna walk with?"
"Can i survive a whole 4 years there?"
"What if i can't catch up with this course?"
These questions kept spinning on my mind.
But here i met many new friends and some of them share their experience from their previous institution. Alhamdulillah, i already finished my first years and i had a lot of fun here because i got nice friends around me. My university experiences thus far have been amazing. I have learned and experienced so many new things in such a short period of time, and it has gone by so fast. I got a nice lecturer that help me along my study and I have made many new friends from many different backgrounds. I am also taking Japanese language, which I greatly enjoy. Learning a new language is challenging but it is very rewarding. The course load is intense, so time management is key.
InshaaAllah, in next 4 years i will become an engineer! University has been the best time of my life. Time has been flying by and it’s hard to believe that we have been on campus for nine months already.
During registration day...
I wore Kurung Moden that was gave by my lovely lecturer in matriculation.
Mom cried a lot when we were getting apart haha. She is so cute :)
Suprisingly, my room was on level 6! Oh, it's really difficult to carried all the things.
#MMMUTMKL #MJIIT Orientation week...
My faculty for four years.
Let us hope for brighter future!
