The latest version of Microsoft Office you can use is Microsoft Office 2016 if you are still using Windows 7.

The latest version of Microsoft Office is Office 2019. Microsoft released the Office 2019 for Windows and Mac on September 24, 2018, which is available for both Windows PCs and Macs. The Windows version runs only on Windows 10. 

You can get the Office 2019 by either subscribing to Microsoft’s Office 365 subscription service or purchasing license of Office 2019 and installing it on your system.
