- Attach to Airworthiness unit.

- Identify and list the function and responsibilities of the unit.

  - The airworthiness unit carries the regulatory function in respect of airworthiness through the establishment of standard, recommended practices and guidelines.

- Understand the AIROD QMS (Quality Management System)

  - Have four main things.

  - Management Responsibilities

  - Resource Management

  - Measurement, Analysis, and Improvement

  - Product Realization

- Understand the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) Program.

  - To monitor compliance with company documented quality management system and its effectiveness.

 

Tuesday

24/7/18

- Understand the Technical Manual, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Illustrated Part Catalogue, Engineering Order.

  - Technical Manual - a document containing instruction for installation, operation, use, maintenance, part list, training requirement for effective deployment of an equipment, machine, process or system.

  - Airworthiness Directives (AD) - a form release from the authority of aviation with details of on how the aircraft or engine should be attended.

  - Service Bulletins (SB) - a form release from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of aviation with details of on how the aircraft or engine should be attended.

  - Illustrated Part Catalogue (IPS) - Details of aircraft or engine components with their serial number.

  - Engineering Order (EO) - Must be referred when want to assemble component but have no manual.

 

Wednesday

- Attach to Standard and Licensing Unit.

- Identify the function and responsibilities of the unit.

  - Manage company approval, certification system, company capability management and ensure compliance to OEM or Airworthiness Authorities directives with regard to maintenance activity.

- Visit AIROD technical library.

  - Learn about TAMM (Technical Airworthiness Management Manual)

  - Have many regulation guidance.

Thursday

26/7/18

- Understand the 4M establishment.

- 4M is required to establish an organization, company, factory and etc.

  - Manpower - skills, experience

  - Manual - instruction, procedure

  - Machine - tools

  - Material - supplier

- Understand Approval Holder.

  - is a holder of a type certificate, a Parts Manufacturer Approval or a Technical Standard Order authorization or the licensee of a Type certificate.

- Understand Approved Vendor.

  - An organization must maintain a detailed list of its suppliers, the item they supply and the recent shipment history.

  - The list is referred to as the Approved Vendor List (AVL).

 

Friday

27/7/18

- Attach to Compliance and Development Unit.

- Identify the function and responsibilities of the unit.

  - Management of Quality Assurance Compliance and In-Process Development activities including defect and incident investigation for compliance to company, contractual and relevant airworthiness authority requirement at AIROD Depot Aircraft Maintenance and AIROD Line Maintenance bases.

- Understand the Surveillance Audit checklist.

  - refer to 4M.

  - Manpower - Approval Holder, qualified person

  - Manual - work must be done according to the right manual

  - Machine - tools, register tool or not, use the right tool according to manual

  - Material - spare part use is from the approved vendor or not  

  - Housekeeping - cleanliness of workplace.

  - F.O.D check.

- Understand the issuance of IR and CAR.

  - IR - Irregularity Report

         - Issue during routine/daily surveillance audit.

  - CAR - Corrective Action Report

         - Issue during Internal Quality Audit.
