PYTHON IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Activity Information:

Date: 03/03/2022 - 03/03/2022

Venue:  webex

Organizer: MJIIT

Graduate Attributes:

  • Thinking Skills
  • Scholarship.

Position:

Participating in the "Python in Artificial Intelligence" as participant.

Mini Report:

The event "Python in Artificial Intelligence" was held by UTM MJIIT on 3 March 2022 via Webex online platform. In this event, the speaker have shared the procedure of create Artificial Intelligence using Python.

In this event, the speaker share the concept on how to create AI instead of share how to code AI. There are several step need to follow by developer to create a fully functional Artificial Intelligence.

Step 1 :

Developers need to define the problem, so that developer can know what field they need to focus on, for example chat AI, AI image generator and etc.

Step 2 :

Developers need to collect the related data to prepare for the training of AI. The data can be in multiple format for example image, audio, video, or text.

Step 3:

Developers need to preprocess the data. Developers need to make turn the data that collected from the previous state into AI algorithm.

Step 4:

Developers need to choose the algorithm that appropriate for the problem. For example decision trees, neural networks, and support vector machines.

Step 5:

After choosing algorithm, developers need to train the model using the preprocesses data. This process feeding the data into the algorithm and adjusting the model's parameters to optimize its performance.

Step 6:

Test the model to make sure the AI meet the requirement

Step 7:
Deploy the model.

Self Reflection:

As a participant in the "Python in Artificial Intelligence". The event gave me the opportunity to enhance my knowledge in AI and development skill.

When i first learn programming, i actually think AI is form by multiple "if" statement, because it will give different respond for different input but after i keep learning programming. I know this is impossible because if we use "if" statement it will take a lot of time to respond. After participate in this event, i know how developers actually create ai. A successful AI require a lot of training, more training AI receive, more performance AI get.

Overall, attending this event was an excellent opportunity for me to learn and grow. It has broadened my perspective and inspired me to explore this field further. I look forward to attending similar events in the future to continue developing my knowledge and skills in this area.

Venue: Facebook

Organizer: (UMS, UTM, UUM, UMP, UPSI)

Graduate Attributes:

  • Communication
  • Thinking Skills
  • Adaptability

Position:

Participatig in the MJIIT ORIGAMI EXHIBITION 2021 as a participant.

Mini Report:

This event was held by Japanese club of multiple University, which are UMS, UTM, UUM, UMP, UPSI the name of this event is "Bunkasai: Cultural Fair", this event have 5 slot, which are:

  • Slot 1: Wagashi Workshop by UPSI
  • Slot 2: Origami Exhibition by UTMKL
  • Slot 3: Taberareru no Monogatari (The Story of Japanese Food) by UUM
  • Slot 4: Nihon x Mareshia, wakuwaku!! (Culture Exchange with Japanese Student) by UMP
  • Slot 5: Culture Exchange Forum by UMS

only Slot 2 was handle by JCC UTMKL.

Participants were fascinated to learn how origami can be used to solve real-world problems. For example, the exhibition demonstrated how origami can be used in the design of a solar plane on a satellite. By using origami to fold and store the solar panels, satellites can save a significant amount of space and reduce launch costs. This is just one of the many ways in which origami can be used to solve practical problems.

The exhibition also provided participants with an opportunity to learn about the different designs and shapes that can be created through origami. Participants were able to fold their own origami creations.

In conclusion, the Origami Exhibition by JCC UTMKL was a unique and insightful experience for participants to learn about the art and science of origami. The exhibition not only showcased the aesthetic appeal of origami but also highlighted its practical applications in real-life scenarios, demonstrating its versatility and potential in solving real-world problems.

Self Reflection:

Attending the Bunkasai: Cultural Fair's Origami Exhibition organized by JCC UTMKL was an eye-opening experience for me. I learned that origami is not only an art form, but also has practical applications in solving real-world problems.

The exhibition demonstrated how origami is used in the design of a solar plane on a satellite, which can save space and reduce launch costs. This is just one of the many examples that showcased the versatility and potential of origami beyond its aesthetic appeal.

The exhibition also provided me with an opportunity to learn about the different designs and shapes that can be created through origami. I was able to fold my own origami creations and take them home as souvenirs, which added to my excitement and enthusiasm for the art.

Overall, attending the Bunkasai: Cultural Fair was a valuable experience that expanded my knowledge and appreciation of Japanese culture, particularly the art of origami. I left the event feeling inspired and grateful for the opportunity to learn and discover something new.

Mini Report:

Persaka UTM from UTMJB recently held a successful event spanning over 3 days, featuring multiple sections aimed at fostering learning and creativity among students. One of the highlights of the event was the Adobe Photoshop Workshop conducted by Mr. Marzuqi bin Muhammad. Through this workshop, students had the opportunity to learn the basic skills of using Photoshop, including how to remove backgrounds, combine multiple pictures and create interesting and visually appealing compositions.

The workshop was designed to encourage students to tap into their creativity and explore the endless possibilities offered by Photoshop. After the teaching session, Mr. Marzuqi challenged the students to use their newly acquired skills and creativity to create their own compositions using random pictures provided to them.

The workshop proved to be a great success, generating a lot of interest and enthusiasm among the students for using Photoshop. The event provided a platform for students to develop their skills and unleash their creativity, enabling them to explore new avenues and enhance their learning experience.

Overall, the Adobe Photoshop Workshop conducted by Persaka UTM from UTMJB was an excellent initiative, providing students with valuable skills and knowledge, while encouraging them to explore their creative potential.

Self Reflection:

Before attending the workshop, I had tried to learn Photoshop skills through various online resources, including YouTube videos. However, I often found these resources to be too fast-paced, and I would frequently get lost or confused about what was being taught. This often left me feeling frustrated, and I was unable to ask questions as the videos were pre-recorded.

However, at the event, I was able to ask questions directly to Mr. Marzuqi through my microphone, which made the learning process much more interactive and engaging. Mr. Marzuqi's explanations were clear and concise, and he made sure that everyone in the workshop understood the concepts being taught.

I was also excited to be given the opportunity to exercise my creativity by combining random pictures into one composition, which allowed me to apply the skills that I had learned during the workshop. This practical application of the skills helped me to better understand and appreciate the usefulness of Photoshop.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the event, and I feel that I gained valuable skills and knowledge from it. I look forward to attending future events held by Persaka UTM from UTMJB and further developing my skills in using Adobe Photoshop.
