Hield on 27 Dec (Tuesday) 2022 9:00am - 4:00pm at Grand Banquet Hall, Level 6, Residensi UTMKL.
The Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM-MJIIT) organised a special annual event, MJIIT Japan Day 2022, on the 27th December 2022, at the Grand Banquet Hall, Level 6, Residensi UTMKL. The event offered a range of exciting activities, including One-Man Rescue Demonstration and Rappelling, Yukata Wearing, origami making, calligraphy, and more. It was a fantastic opportunity for attendees to experience and learn about Japanese culture while enjoying a fun and interactive day.
Being a media crew for MJIIT Japan Day 2022 was a unique and enjoyable experience for me. As an introverted person, I was initially nervous about approaching strangers and asking them questions. However, as I interviewed visitors and learned about their experiences, I felt more confident and comfortable in my role.
I enjoyed hearing about the different activities that people participated in and how they felt about the event overall. It was great to see the enthusiasm and interest that visitors had in learning about Japanese culture and trying new things.
Being part of the media crew also gave me a chance to improve my communication and interpersonal skills. I learned how to approach people in a friendly and professional manner, ask open-ended questions, and actively listen to their responses.

The ONLINE JAPANESE COFFEE SESSION 2022's second session continued to provide an enjoyable and engaging environment for learning Japanese through fun activities. Similar to the first session, participants watched Japanese children's stories and took part in quizzes. However, this time, students were encouraged to speak fully in Japanese, leading to improved language skills and confidence. It was a fantastic opportunity for language learners to practice and immerse themselves in the language while enjoying a supportive and interactive environment.
Participating in the second session of the ONLINE JAPANESE COFFEE SESSION 2022 was a challenging yet rewarding experience. When asked to speak fully in Japanese, I felt nervous and anxious, especially since we had to open our mic and camera. However, Hakim Sensei's kind and encouraging words helped me to overcome my embarrassment and feel more confident in my abilities.
Although I struggled with speaking Japanese at first, I was glad to have the opportunity to practice and improve my skills. The supportive and interactive environment of the event made it easier to engage with other language learners and share our experiences.
Overall, despite the initial discomfort, I enjoyed the event and felt motivated to continue practicing my Japanese language skills. I appreciated Hakim Sensei's support and encouragement

On September 14, 2022, Hakim Sensei hosted an exciting event called the ONLINE JAPANESE COFFEE SESSION 2022. The event was all about learning Japanese through fun activities, encouraging students to practice speaking simple sentences such as their name, hobbies, age, birthday, and where they live. Participants also enjoyed watching Japanese children's stories and taking part in several quizzes. It was an excellent opportunity for language learners to improve their skills while also having a great time.
Attending the ONLINE JAPANESE COFFEE SESSION 2022 was an enjoyable and enriching experience. Hakim Sensei's guidance and the fun activities made learning Japanese feel effortless and engaging. The event's emphasis on speaking and practicing simple sentences gave me the confidence to apply what I had learned and improve my language skills.
I particularly enjoyed watching Japanese children's stories and taking part in the quizzes, which allowed me to test my understanding and apply it in a practical context. The opportunity to interact with other language learners and share our experiences made the event even more enjoyable.
Overall, the ONLINE JAPANESE COFFEE SESSION 2022 was a fantastic opportunity to learn and practice Japanese in a fun and supportive environment. I'm grateful for the experience and look forward to participating in similar events in the future.

On November 27, 2021, from 8:15pm to 10:20pm, the Japanese Culture Club (JCC) hosted an exciting event called JCC Kizuna Day. The event focused on learning about Japanese culture through fun activities, while also serving as a bonding day for JCC members. It was an excellent opportunity for former JCC members and other enthusiasts to come together and share their passion for Japanese culture.
Attending the JCC Kizuna Day event was an exciting experience that left me feeling grateful for the supportive community of JCC members. Throughout the event, they were always willing to help and provide guidance in learning about Japanese culture and language. I appreciated their kindness and willingness to share their knowledge with others. The event not only allowed me to learn more about Japanese culture but also helped me to connect with fellow JCC members. The bond created through this event has motivated me to attend more JCC events in the future. Overall, the JCC Kizuna Day event was an excellent opportunity to learn, bond, and be part of a supportive community. It has left me excited for future events and further inspired me to continue my passion for Japanese culture and language.

On December 7 2021 (Tuesday) , the Japanese Culture Club (JCC) hosted an exciting online event called Hanayoku Japanese Language Open Class.The event featured a special guest, Tanaka Sensei from Hanayoku Japanese Tutors, who hails from Japan and is a renowned expert on Japanese language and culture.
The focus of the event was to provide an opportunity for beginners to learn Japanese grammar. With Tanaka Sensei's expertise and guidance, participants had a unique opportunity to delve into the fundamentals of the Japanese language and gain a deeper understanding of its structure and nuances.
JCC Hanayoku Japanese Language Open Class was a great way for former JCC members and other language enthusiasts to reconnect and expand their knowledge of Japanese culture. The online format of the event allowed participants from all over the world to come together and share their passion for the language and culture of Japan. Overall, it was an exciting and informative event that left participants with a newfound appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the Japanese language
Attending the JCC Hanayoku Japanese Language Open Class event and learning about Japanese grammar with Tanaka Sensei was an incredible experience that left a lasting impact on me. Through his teachings, I learned about the different sentence structures, verb conjugations, and particles that are essential to mastering the Japanese language. Moreover, the event made me realize that learning about a language involves immersing oneself in its culture. Overall, it has left me inspired to continue learning and exploring more about the Japanese language and culture, and one day visit Japan to experience it all firsthand.
