HASAN LABIB's Reflection

Looking back on my internship at Kollect Systems Sdn. Bhd., I can honestly say it was an eye-opening and valuable experience. Coming in, I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but I was eager to learn — and I ended up learning a lot more than I imagined, both technically and personally.
During my time at Kollect, I worked closely with the team on their KeiL (Kollect e-Invoice Link) system. I was involved in various testing phases like SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and testing in the Bank Environment. At first, it felt overwhelming, but with guidance from my teammates and a lot of hands-on experience, I got more confident in navigating test cases, identifying issues, and raising tickets using OpenProject. These tasks helped me understand how important details, teamwork, and communication are in real-world projects.
Aside from testing, I also got the chance to dive into Laravel and Bootstrap, tools I had only heard of before. With them, I helped build and style parts of the system’s front-end and back-end. It was challenging at first, especially figuring out how everything connects, but slowly things started making sense. I was proud whenever I could contribute something that actually worked and made the system better.
What stood out the most to me wasn’t just the technical part — it was how much I grew in terms of responsibility, time management, and adaptability. There were times when things didn’t go smoothly, bugs didn’t make sense, or deadlines felt tight, but those moments taught me to keep learning, stay calm, and ask questions when I needed help.
The work culture at Kollect was supportive. Everyone was approachable and willing to guide me, which made the learning process a lot less intimidating. I always felt like I was part of the team, not just an intern.
In the end, I’m really thankful for this opportunity. It gave me real-world experience, new skills, and a clearer view of what I want to do in the future. I’ll carry this experience with me as I move forward in my career.
Reflecting on the theme of "Quality Education: During and After the Pandemic" highlights the challenges and opportunities that have arisen as a result of the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced a rapid shift towards remote and online learning, which has presented a number of challenges for educators, students, and families.
As an educator, it has been a challenging experience to adapt teaching methods and resources to an online format, while ensuring that students are still able to receive a high-quality education. The lack of face-to-face interactions and the isolation caused by remote learning have also highlighted the importance of emotional and mental support for students. However, the pandemic has also presented opportunities for innovation and experimentation in education. The use of technology has allowed for new forms of engagement and collaboration, and has expanded access to resources and educational materials for students.
As we look to the future, it is important that we continue to build on these opportunities and find ways to integrate technology and online learning in a way that supports high-quality education for all students. This will require collaboration and cooperation among educators, policymakers, and families to ensure that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed. Overall, the pandemic has highlighted the importance of quality education and the need for ongoing innovation and adaptation in the field of education. As educators, it's our responsibility to ensure that we are providing students with the best possible education, despite the challenges and opportunities presented by the pandemic.
Participating in the "Greening Malaysia 100 Million Trees Planting Campaign" was a fulfilling and enlightening experience. The campaign provided an opportunity to take an active role in promoting environmental conservation and sustainability in the country. The process of planting the trees was a hands-on experience that gave me a deeper understanding of the importance of trees in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. It was also a great opportunity to work with a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and cultures, who came together to achieve a common goal.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the campaign was seeing the immediate results of our efforts. As we planted the trees, it was satisfying to watch them take root and grow, knowing that we were contributing to the restoration of the natural environment. Moreover, the campaign also served as a reminder of the importance of preserving and protecting our planet. Seeing the extent of the damage caused by deforestation, it reinforced the need for urgent action to address the issue.
Overall, participating in the "Greening Malaysia 100 Million Trees Planting Campaign" was a valuable experience that gave me a deeper appreciation of the role of trees in maintaining a healthy planet and the importance of taking action to protect our environment.
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) had the event called the Uniform Bodies, Club and Society Carnival (UNBOCS Carnival). This event is held in November 20 to 22 and the event offers a wide range of activities, such as different sports, games, performances, and food stalls. The UNBOCS Carnival also gives students a chance to show off their skills and take part in events that encourage cooperation and teamwork among all of the students. The UNBOCS Carnival is a fantastic opportunity for the students to socialize and have fun. It was a great bring there in the event. There were a lot of people in event present in the event, all were very much interested about stalls of the students from different countries.
A Storytelling and Poem Recitation Night was a gathering that the ISSBD arranged where individuals come together to share stories in a casual setting. It can be a pleasant way to meet new people, discover about other cultures and experiences, and amuse one another. Any genre of story is acceptable, including personal anecdotes, mythology, and folktales. Our goal was to share real-life experiences. Depending on the event, there may be a theme to the stories or an open forum where anyone can contribute a story. A round of applause, a question, or a comment from the audience are frequently included in storytelling events. They usually create a sense of community and serve as excellent icebreakers. Our program was held in Dewan Sri Perdana on 13th November. In that program I also shared my story and got a great response by the audience. During the evening, I had the pleasure of chatting with some of the attendees, who were passionate about the cause and eager to share their stories with me. I was taken aback by the enthusiasm and commitment of everyone involved. At the end of the night, I left the event feeling inspired and inspired by the generosity and commitment of everyone who had attended. It was a truly special experience, and I will never forget it.
