A Storytelling and Poem Recitation Night was a gathering that the ISSBD arranged where individuals come together to share stories in a casual setting. It can be a pleasant way to meet new people, discover about other cultures and experiences, and amuse one another. Any genre of story is acceptable, including personal anecdotes, mythology, and folktales. Our goal was to share real-life experiences. Depending on the event, there may be a theme to the stories or an open forum where anyone can contribute a story. A round of applause, a question, or a comment from the audience are frequently included in storytelling events. They usually create a sense of community and serve as excellent icebreakers. Our program was held in Dewan Sri Perdana on 13th November. In that program I also shared my story and got a great response by the audience. During the evening, I had the pleasure of chatting with some of the attendees, who were passionate about the cause and eager to share their stories with me. I was taken aback by the enthusiasm and commitment of everyone involved. At the end of the night, I left the event feeling inspired and inspired by the generosity and commitment of everyone who had attended. It was a truly special experience, and I will never forget it.
