Another great semester ended with a project that has helped me to understand the systematic way of learning data visualization, statistical data analysis, and data calculation. With this project, I had a broad and vibrant experience of learning:
- Hypothesis testing (1 - sample & 2 - sample)
- Correlation
- Regression
- Chi-Square test of independence
- ANOVA
Also when doing the project one of our core requirements was to do the calculation and proof finding with R - Script. In my opinion R - Script is the best choice for this project. It has a huge collection of data analysis and data science libraries called the R library. By doing a bit of research I got to know some of the libraries that were essential to my project. Some of the libraries I worked with:
- readxl
- "plyr"
- MASS
- dplyr
Also on my way to ending this course, I got to learn and see my group member's points of view. And helped each other out as much as we could and supported till the end. I had a wonderful experience doing this project as I got to learn some of the important things like R Script, Data Visualization, how to deal with huge data, and many more which will help me in my future in building a great data science career.
- WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED AND YOUR MOTIVATION TO COMPLETE THIS
PROJECT?
- This project taught us about cloud computing, business model, infrastructure, AWS technology, Microsoft bI. All of these things are new to us, although we had a basic idea of what it is! But this project has to enrich our knowledge base let us into a new world of knowledge. It has piqued my curiosity that’s my main motivation to complete the project.
- WHAT ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS ARE IMPLEMENTED TO MAKE THE
PROJECT A SUCCESS?
- First, in project 2 part 1 we introduced a new home security system and mentioned the problems of using an analog security system then we propose a new and improved AWS cloud technology system and showed the implementation of AWS in this project.
- WHAT IS YOUR DIRECTION AFTER COMPLETING THE PROJECT?
- After completing the project we kind of have curiosity about cloud computing not sure I’ll go down that path.
- WHAT IS THE IMPROVEMENT NECESSARY FOR YOU TO IMPROVE YOUR
POTENTIAL IN THE INDUSTRY?
- We think we need to study more about cloud technology and virtual cloud space and data center, which are the things I’m
lacking knowledge in so that’s what I need to improve.
