I am Nuraini Shahroni. Graduated from University Technology of Malaysia with a major in electronic engineering and minor in biomedical electronic engineering. Experienced in working alongside with experienced people in biomedical machinery project during internship and actively involve with volunteering work to serve and educate unfortunate society such as offering free tutor for poor children. Devoted knowledge seeker and inspirational motivator.

A speaker from Port Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) was invited to share experience and knowledge about engineering career in industry. Ir Juraimi Masood is an experienced electrical engineer from PTP. He also a General Manager Development Office Port in PTP which is located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru. Ir. Juraimi had worked in several big company like Sime Darby before he settled down in PTP.
He shared about safety and working environment in PTP which involves with gigantic technology and advanced facilities. He assured students to be prepared with future world and occupied themselves with knowledge as much as possible alongside with social skill and technical skill.

Among all modalities in radiology department, I likely engross more about MRI because the capability of MRI to picture soft tissue is astonishing. MRI is categorized more safer than Ct-scan in term of radiation dose because MRI uses magnetic resonance to form the image whilst Ct-scan uses X-ray to form the image.

Had done practical training at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Cheras (HUKM) under radiology department. I was assigned as Quality Control Assistant Engineer for three (3) months. My scope of work is to supervise the maintenance procedure for every modalities in radiology department for example CT-scan, MRI and Fluoroscopy. Other than that, I got opportunity to collaborate working with few big company from Siemens, Philips and Toshiba. And, I had experienced to see four (4) minor operations and two (2) major operations in room theater throughout my internship journey.

Had experienced to be inside Petronas Floating Liquefied Natural Gas 1 (PFLNG 1) in South Korea during semester break in 2015. I got the chance to see the facilities and gigantic technologies they used to build up the ship and had a chance to feel a harmonic working environment in working place which accumulated workers from diverse background.
