Digital electronics is the foundation of all microprocessor-based systems found in computers, robots, automobiles, and industrial control systems. This course introducesthe students to digital electronics and provides a broad overview of many important concepts, components, and tools. Students will get up-to-date coverage of digital fundamentals-from basic concepts to programmable logic devices. Laboratory experiments provide hands-on experience with the simulator software, actual devices and circuits studied in the classroom

Reflection

This course has taught me on how digital electronics work and their functions in real worlds as it will keep the task easier and faster. I also learned how to design a combinational logic circuit using the gates that had been taught. This course gives me a better understanding how a digital electronics such as the computers, robots and control systems work. The lab session also gives me exposure on how to design and simulate my circuit. I hope this course will help me in the future especially in this field. To improve myself in this industry, I need to further my studies so I can learn deeply about this course as this course only provide the fundamental part.
