As a fundamental subject, this course equips the students with theory and practice on problem solving techniques by using the structured approach. Students are required to develop programs using C++ programming language, in order to solve simple to moderate problems. The course covers the following: pre-processor directives, constants and variables, data types, input and output statements, control structures: sequential, selection and loop, built-in and user-defined functions, single and two dimensional arrays, file operations, pointers, and structured data types

Reflection

My goal concerning this course is to solve any problems which can be range from simple to moderate problems. As we know, this course is one of the fundamental subject for computer science students. I have to learn this subject first before I move to the next programming subject. In this course, I know how to create a program using C++ programming language. With this knowledge, I can develop more programs to solve problems in the future

 

To improve my potential in the industry, all I have to do is to learn more about other programming languages. There are a lot of programming languages other than C++ that can be used in the industry. These programming languages are important for all the developers and engineers for their careers. By learning other languages, it also can be a bonus for me to get a job related to this field. In conclusion,  I think getting to know more than one programming languages can help me to develop more fascinating and useful programmes.
