Do make yourself feel at home on my e-portfolio! My name is Ros and I am a first year student for the Computer Science course in UTM. Since a young age, I am fascinated with computer programming and have tried making programming projects on my own which made me consider to enter UTM as a Computer Science student. I chose Networking Security because I thought that it will really benefit me in the future as security is always an issue when doing anything.

I also sometimes do art on my free time when I feel like it, though my motivation has been slightly lacking due to quarantine. Therefore, I spend most of my time in quarantine studying Python and C++, apart from playing video games like Minecraft and Terraria which encourages creative building (Playing with wires in Terraria and Redstone engineering in Minecraft). I hope that I could one day make my own software that everyone will benefit from.

For the next semester, I think that my main goal is that I should improve on my programming skills as programming assignments have been quite challenging to complete, even more so to do it in a short amount of time. Other than that, I will do a lot more reading and research on subjects such as Technology & Information Systems to understand better on what the next topics will be about before entering class. I will try to make myself more diligent on doing extra exercises and asking more in classes to further my understanding. In doing this, I will be more prepared with both the knowledge and the attitude needed to improve my odds on getting a job
