Link between subjects in this course(SEMESTER 1)
In my first semester, I have taken seven subjects. There are four core subjects which are Discrete Structure, Programming Technique 1, Digital Logic , Technology and Information System. Discrete structure is basically a branch of Mathematics where we can apply the concepts in computer science. Programming Technique 1 requires us to solve problems by developing programs using C++ language. Digital Logic introduces us a digital electronics and functions of digital components. Technology and Information System teaches us computing fundamentals and more knowledge about information system and technology. This subjects helps us to design solutions for problems and develops us as a more knowledgeable person in this field. For example, developing a software requires the knowledge from all these subjects. In a nutshell, all these subjects are important in developing our skills in this computer science field.
About me
I am Haresh Naidu, a 20-year old boy from Klang who always dreamt of achieving my dreams since my childhood days. I am an undergraduate student from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, JB. I am currently doing my degree in Bachelor of Computer Science (Graphics & Multimedia Software), School of Computing, Faculty of Engineering. Its my dream to pursue my further studies in the field of computer science. I believe that I can be a successful person in this field as I am very determined to achieve my dreams and objectives. I hope that I will become someone successful in this field and my services and contributions will be helpful to people.

My goal in this program is to do my best in my assignments and exams to get a better pointer. I want to gain more knowledge about this field from my lecturers and seniors so that I can implement them in my future. I want to be more productive by managing my time well
Getting good pointer is not enough to secure a job in the future. I have some plans to improve my potential. Firstly, I have to improve my communication and teamworking skills. People will have a good first impression on us if we have a better communication and teamworking skills. I have planned to coding skills so that it will help me in my future in this industry
