MINI REPORT
Experiential Development Program is an annual event organised by CGMA. The objective of the program is to strengthen the bond of CGMA members regardless of their batch. Since it is a pandemic, we could not carry out this program physically.
This year this program was held on 4th June 2022 from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. virtually. We used Google Meet as our online platform. Fun and exciting activities were organised so that all students could participate together in this program. In this program, seniors will share their experiences during their university life and also their internship experience which will be very useful for juniors in the future.
The main attribute which is focused in this program is communication skills. Through this program, we could learn the importance of communication skills not only in our daily life but in our work life too. The learnings from this program will be valuable to us always.
SELF-REFLECTION
When I got the opportunity to serve in this program as a registration unit member, I thought it would be a little easy compared to other units. But I realised that each and every unit has its own challenges. My job was to handle the registration of participants and split them into groups.
This program has taught me to implement critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The main challenge we faced in this unit was there was a delay in participants filling out registration forms and some of them missed our program. In this situation, we had to approach the students one-on-one to gather their information and confirm their availability for the program. Without the teamwork element in the registration unit, we could not have done our tasks properly.
Figuring out fast and effective solutions was the key to making the program a success. We were a team of less-experienced students in organising a program but we somehow found a winning way for this program.
