Programme Information:
On June 11, 2023, it was held as part of the Geoinfo Club events via the web-based platform Webex Meetings.
Graduate Attributes:
1. Thinking Skills:
Understanding geographical data necessitates considerable spatial awareness. Moderators must properly perceive and analyze geographical data, which can improve their spatial thinking and mapping abilities. Detail-oriented thinking in which geospatial data quality and precision are critical As a moderator, you'll learn to pay attention to details and ensure that data is presented and comprehended appropriately. Moderators must make rapid judgments on which questions or topics to prioritize when moderating conversations and Q&A sessions throughout the event. Mini Report:
The webinar is part of the Geoinfo Club event, and they requested a speaker from the oil and gas business, Ms. Afifah Azhar, to deliver a sharing session about how GIS is being utilized in the oil and gas industry. Even though I arrived as a moderator, I learned and grew interested in the subject. It's incredibly instructive and will come in handy when I finish my degree. Nonetheless, being a moderator for the webinar was definitely an experience, since it was my first time moderating a seminar, and everything ran well for an hour straight, and even the audience paid attention and asked good questions.

As a moderator, I've had the opportunity to facilitate discussions, manage speakers, and interact with the audience. This has greatly enhanced my communication abilities. I've learned how to accurately communicate difficult concepts, successfully direct debates, and maintain a courteous and engaging environment. Plus, I have a Better Understanding of Geospatial Insights: Being a part of the event has given me a better understanding of geospatial applications in the oil and gas business. I've had the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and lecturers, which has broadened my knowledge and expertise. As a result of networking opportunities, I was able to interact with a broad range of professionals and geospatial insights specialists has helped me to broaden my network. This networking can lead to new possibilities and industry collaborations. In the end, serving as a moderator for "Geospatial Insights for Oil and Gas Exploration" has been both personally and professionally rewarding. It has not only expanded my understanding of geospatial technology, but it has also aided in my personal development in terms of communication, leadership, flexibility, and networking. I am excited to continue in this capacity and to learn more about the dynamic field of geospatial insights.
