Role in the Activities
As a committee member of SEGA 22', I joined the activity unit and specifically focused on the e-games component due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My role involved organizing and judging the TikTok challenge competition. By serving as a judge, I assessed and scored the submitted videos.

I joined the SEGA 22' activity unit as a committee member and concentrated primarily on the e-games component. My duties included planning and administering the TikTok challenge. I ensured fairness and accuracy in the competition by serving as a judge and evaluating and scoring the submitted videos. With this job, I actively contributed to SEGA 22's success and gave students a stage to display their skills in the digital world.
I defended my participation in SEGA 22 and the activity unit by emphasising the chance to support personal development while contributing to the student body. Participating actively in these activities allowed people to hone vital abilities like leadership, teamwork, and organisation. I had the chance to improve my communication skills by organising and judging the TikTok challenge competition, as I gave contestants clear instructions and efficiently evaluated their submitted videos with my teammates. As I assessed the value and originality of each entry, this experience also allowed me to exercise my critical thinking abilities. Additionally, being a member of the SEGA 22 committee allowed me to develop deep relationships with other students, fostering a sense of unity and belonging at the institution.
The activity was creating TikTok videos related to various sports. Participants were encouraged to record and post videos showcasing sports tutorials and skills, such as futsal, skipping, and volleyball. The aim was to engage students, promote active lifestyles, and foster sportsmanship. The activity leveraged TikTok's popularity and short-form video format to reach a wider audience. It provided guidelines for participants to demonstrate their skills, provide tutorials, and share tips and tricks related to their chosen sport. The activity aimed to enhance participants' creativity, presentation skills, and knowledge of different sports while inspiring them to adopt an active lifestyle and engage with the sports community on social media.
Regarding Graduate Attributes, I concentrated mostly on communication abilities during the exercises because I had to give the participants feedback and directions efficiently. In addition, I had to use my critical thinking abilities to assess the TikTok videos fairly. Furthermore, by collaborating with other committee members to ensure the competition's seamless execution and SEGA 22' overall success, I got the chance to demonstrate my leadership and teamwork skills.
My personal and professional development was significantly impacted by my participation in SEGA 22' and the activity unit overall. It allowed me to improve my critical reasoning, leadership, and communication skills, which will be very helpful in my academic and future job endeavours. I was able to personally witness the benefits of working together to organise important events, which further solidified my belief in the efficacy of collaboration and community involvement.

Self-Reflection
Participating in the SEGA 22' activity unit and the TikTok challenge competition greatly impacted my graduating qualities. Because I could readily communicate with the participants' comments and instructions, it helped me with communication skills. I had to objectively assess each TikTok video's quality and creativity, which helped me hone my critical thinking abilities. Additionally, working with other committee members to ensure the competition's effective execution provided an opportunity to showcase leadership and teamwork skills.
My involvement significantly influenced my development of graduate qualities in the SEGA 22' activity unit and the TikTok challenge competition. In particular, it allowed me to improve my communication abilities since I gave the participants feedback and directions efficiently. Because I had to evaluate each TikTok video's inventiveness and quality objectively, participating in the review process also helped me develop my critical thinking skills. Furthermore, working with other committee members to ensure the competition's seamless implementation allowed opportunity to demonstrate leadership and teamwork abilities.
One of the difficulties I ran across was juggling a lot of TikTok video submissions in a short time. To get around this, I created a systematic evaluation and scoring system for the videos, allotting specific timeslots for reviewing and giving comments. To ensure a smoother workflow, I also recruited the aid of other committee members to help with the review process. Additionally, addressing any logistical or technical difficulties that developed during the competition depended heavily on excellent communication and collaboration among the committee members.
The opportunity to participate in the activity unit and the TikTok challenge competition allowed me to develop and demonstrate key graduate characteristics. It gave me a chance to develop my critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, which will surely help me in my academic and future professional endeavours.
