Mini Report

I participated as a committee member of the activity unit at the Kelab Kaunseling & Kerjaya (KKDK) TIME TO TRAVEL event. I had to design and make a number of games for the attendees as part of my job. Due to the MCO (Movement Control Order), the event had to be conducted digitally, therefore my teammates and I had to work together remotely and communicate clearly to make the programme a success.

I decided to join the KDKK TIME TO TRAVEL event as a committee of the activity unit because I enjoy travelling and want to participate in a celebration promoting learning and cross-cultural exchange. Working on game design and development also gave me a fun and engaging method to use my creativity and problem-solving skills.

The activities in the activity unit were geared toward cultivating certain graduate qualities. First and foremost, efficient coordination and collaboration with my foreign counterparts depended heavily on my communication abilities. Second, innovation was crucial in developing fun activities to hold participants' attention and improve their overall experience. Last but not least, perseverance and adaptability were crucial qualities as we continued to develop and improve our ideas while being met with opposition.

The event's activities focused on educating participants on affordable travel, smart backpacking, finding cool places to visit, and exchanging first-hand backpacking experiences. I had the unique responsibility of developing games that complemented the travel theme as a member of the activity unit crew. The games featured anagrams, crosswords, and guessing the native tongue and costume of several nations. These games attempted to create a fun and dynamic virtual experience for players while testing their expertise.

In conclusion, I supported the promotion of travel awareness and cultural discovery by participating in the KDKK TIME TO TRAVEL event as a member of the activity unit. It allowed graduates to practise and develop communication, creativity, resilience, and flexibility skills. Sharing travel-related knowledge and creating interactive games that enhanced the participants' experiences were key components of the activities' content.

Self Reflection

As a crew member of the activity unit, I took part in the KDKK TIME TO TRAVEL event, which greatly impacted how my graduation traits developed. First off, working with my distant teammates to develop fun games for the attendees helped me improve my communication skills. Coordination of our efforts, idea exchange, and smooth activity execution all depended on effective communication.

My ingenuity was one of my benefits in this situation. I proposed fresh game concepts that complemented the travel theme and piqued the players' interest. I played a significant part in developing engaging games like anagrams and crosswords and guessing many nations' languages and traditional clothing using my creative thinking.

However, one of the difficulties we encountered was that, occasionally, our ideas were turned down. We adopted a growth attitude and persisted in improving our concepts to overcome this. We continually asked for input, developed new ideas, and modified our plans to fit the event's goals. We were able to use resiliency and adaptability to turn difficulties into chances for growth.

As a result of my involvement in the KDKK TIME TO TRAVEL event, I honed my graduate-level skills in communication, creativity, resilience, and flexibility. It gave people a place to put these abilities to use and develop them in a practical setting. Working cooperatively with a varied team and overcoming obstacles also emphasised the value of teamwork and problem-solving, which helped me advance personally and professionally.
