A Brief Synopsis of the following Course:

Appreciation of Ethics and Civilisations (UHMS) is about the concept of ethics from the perspective of a different civilization. It aims to identify the system, level of development, progress, and the culture of a nation in strengthening social cohesion. Also, discussion related to contemporary issues in economic, political, social, cultural, and environmental aspects from the perspective of ethics and civilization can produce moral students and professional. The appropriate application of high-impact educational practices (HIEPs) is used in the delivery of this course. At the end of this course students will be able to relate ethics and civic-minded citizenship.

Appreciation of Ethics and Civilisations (UHMS) is a course where I learned about the principles and applications ethics in my daily life. I also learnt concepts of ethics from the perspective of a different civilization. This enabled me to be more open minded.

Being open minded strengthens my chances of achieving my dream which is to become a successful machine learning engineer. I would like to thank my lecturer towards Dr. Faizah Binti Mohd Fakhruddin and my groupmates from Group 2. Most of the assignments given were difficult to complete, things would have been more complicated without the help of Dr. Faizah.

Dr Faizah also encouraged me to be more open personally, by motivating me to be interviewed by her for a study conducted by Dr. Faizah. This only improved my communication skills and gave me more confidence towards new tasks.
