Introduction
SECP1513 Technology & Information System is a course delivering knowledge about information system and technology and its uses in daily life both at home and at work. There is a wide range of information from various aspects of the information system and technology learnt through this course such as hardware, software, network, communications, internet, multimedia, graphic and system applications.
There is a total of 13 chapters + 1 extra chapter in this course. The 13 chapters are "Overview of Technology and Information Systems (People, Software, Hardware, Data, connectivity)", "The Internet, The Web and Electronic Commerce", "Basic Application Software and Specialized Application Software", "System Software", "The System Unit", "Input and Output", "Secondary Storage", "Communications and Network", "Privacy and Security", "Information System", "Databases", "Systems Analysis and Design" and "Programming and Languages" while the extra chapter is "Cloud Computing: Azure Fundamental".

Assignment 3 - Industrial Talks Report Assignment
Assignment 3 is industrial talk report assignment. This assignment consists of 2 industrial talks.
The first industrial talk is about Industrial 4.0 given by Telekom Malaysia (TM), which explained the evolutions and creation of every industrial revolution on the history, details about 4.0 Industry Revolution, examples of products that change our life, 5G use cases for smart tourism and the jobs of tomorrow due to Industrial Revolution 4.0. This assignment was presented by using the poster format.
The second industrial talk is about IT project management given by Commerce Dot Com, which explained the importance and trending of IT project management in nowadays. IT project management is important in minimizing the risk and its impact on the ongoing project as well as ensuring the timeliness of the project. IT project management also becomes a trend in modern society as its demand is kept increasing. This assignment was done by using the IEEE format.

Assignment 4 - Alumni Sharing Session Report Assignment
Assignment 4 is alumni sharing session report assignment.
The alumni sharing session is mainly about the ways to secure jobs after graduation, self-improvements in various aspect such as technical and attitude, skills required in the current IT workforce as well as things needed to prepare before entering IT workforce. This session was given by alumni from the School of Computing in UTM. This assignment was done by using the news format.

Assignment 5 - Cloud Computing Fundamentals Assignment
Assignment 5 is cloud computing fundamentals assignment. This assignment required students to compare the three cloud computing service providers, which are Amazon EC2, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure. The compare aspects are such as service model provided such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, virtual machine instance types offered such as micro, small, medium and large, storage, OS environments offered, security, performance and scalability, pricing model, auto-scaling and monitoring tools provided. Besides, the advantages and disadvantages of each cloud computing service providers were analyzed. Based on the analyzation, a cloud computing service provider was recommended for software development.

My Goal / Dream Concerning My Course / Program
My goal concerning this course which is Technology & Information System is to have a better understanding of the current technology & information system such as hardware, software, network, communications, internet, multimedia, graphic and system applications. Throughout the whole semester, I had learned a lot about the information system and tools that can assist us from various aspects such as multimedia creation, routine plans and communication. Besides, this course provided me with the opportunity of using these tools and knowledge in the assignments given. These experiences and knowledge will aid me in my dream of taking the program, Graphic & Multimedia Software which is to develop software with various multimedia elements.
Action / Improvement / Plan Necessary for Me to Improve My Potential in the Industry
There will be many competitors when I'm looking for a job in the future. To make sure I can stand out from all of the job seekers as well as improve my potential in the industry, I have to prepare myself for the future during my university life. First of all, I have to be active in participating activities and competitions requiring technical skills to improve myself in the technical aspect. For example, participating in programming competition is a good way to enhance my programming skill in terms of accuracy and time. Besides, I have to participate in organizing activities together with others to improve my communication and cooperation skill. These soft skills will be my advantages in the industry. Apart from that, I have to actively learn new things outside of the syllabus of the course as I have more free time at university. This is to make sure I can acquire more skills to help the company in various ways.
