It is been 3 months for my internship training with DAR Energy. DAR Energy is an experienced working oil and gas company.
There are so many things I learned during the period for my professional and personal development. I have been working on optimizing the quotation system for the company under the proposal department. In order to make it happen, I have to study the technical of the Microsoft Excel in-depth for me to come up with optimum functions that can be organized to make the system become a friendly user.
I would like to place high appreciation to my supervisor Puan Rosmawati Johari and Amir Kamilin (Jr. Proposal Engineer) for guiding me. I learned the knowledge of Microsoft Excel from them. I also learn how the projects are run by the company in order for me to come up with the idea to optimize the quotation system. All the knowledge gained will be a great value for me to be an efficient engineer in my career in the future.
Me and my team were assigned to do a mini project study and present the project. We were assigned to work the project regarding Waste-To-Wealth Energy. Briefly, this project is about turning waste to energy. The waste come form residential area which known as Municipal Waste as the generation of the waste increasing from time to time and the amount of landfills decreasing over time. A solution need to be carried out. The solution proposed was Incineration with energy recovery which the waste is used as fuel for Power Generation Plant. This project had thought me a lot about everything has value. If we put some thought over something, it will definitely contains benefits within. A waste is not always a waste. A waste can be valuable as well. So make sure to put some thought over everything in this world. ^_^
