Thoughts about the subject
Digital Logic is the study of the fundamentals of electronics. It touches upon the basic building blocks of any electronic system (such as the digital and analogue quantities, the bit) and the chips used in the system. We would also study the number systems and codes that are used by the computer to represent numbers, logic gates that facilitate the processing of bits and the logic (also known as Boolean Algebra) that governs the logic gates in general.
Based on the above topics of study, we would dive into the Combinational Logic Circuit and their functions, the usage of the latches, flip-flops with both counters and shift registers be derived from those circuits.
