This program has invited Areef who is an artist from Tarbiah Sentap Records to let him share about his journey in the business world. The participants had learnt about how business works, copywriting and more.
The reason why I joined this program is because I am a part of the Persatuan Mahasiswa Islam UTM. I always wanted to have some experiences in organizing an event. I am one of the technical section members for the program. Our roles in this program are to provide the Google Meeting room for the participants, record the session and become the MC of the program.
There were two different sessions in this program. In the first one, the speaker did his sharing session with the participants, and in the second phase, there was a Q&A session for anyone who was still curious about copywriting or anything about business. The program started at 9 p.m. and ended at around 12 a.m.
Self Reflection
This program had teach me a lot on how to organize an event. It also helped me to develop teamworking skills between the committee members, because we had been divided into several AJKs. This had taught me that sometime, having a smaller group will help us to distribute tasks better and efficiently. It also had taught me to be more considerate when distributing our tasks to make sure everyone is comfortable with their tasks.
To be honest, organizing an online event is very hard in my opinion. This is because some of the committee members will had internet connection issues and very different time schedule. It is very hard to make sure everyone is committed to the event. For example, for the technical section, I can not do the recording task because I do not have the most stable internet connection. However, this situation helped us to develop understanding among us,
I hope that I will have the opportunity to organize more events in the future because it is a fun experience for me so far.
