In a remarkable display of collaboration and sporting excellence, Persatuan Kabaddi UTM organized a Kabaddi Tournament in partnership with Persatuan Kabaddi Johor. The two-day event captivated participants and spectators alike, providing an unforgettable experience complete with comprehensive hospitality. This program has been designed with the dual purpose of highlighting the distinctiveness of the game of kabaddi and honoring traditional sports within the realm of higher education institutions. By organizing this competition, there is a valuable opportunity to reinforce the importance of sportsmanship among participants. Moreover, it serves as a means to foster team spirit and cooperation among high school students.
The participating teams, hailing from various universities, arrived at the venue to a warm reception and a well-organized registration process. Persatuan Kabaddi UTM and Persatuan Kabaddi Johor went above and beyond by ensuring that all participants were provided with comfortable accommodation and nutritious meals throughout their stay. This comprehensive hospitality added an extra layer of convenience and support for the athletes, allowing them to focus solely on their performances on the Kabaddi mat. UTM's dedication to providing top-notch facilities extended to the sports arena as well. The Kabaddi matches were held in Sports Hall 1, UTM , complete with a well-maintained mat, reasonable seating for spectators, and a vibrant atmosphere that added to the excitement.
Over the course of the action-packed days, the tournament witnessed fierce battles and incredible displays of skill and sportsmanship. The men's division showcased intense encounters, with teams demonstrating their agility, strength, and strategic acumen. Manipal University emerged as the champions, with their exceptional teamwork and tactical brilliance earning them well-deserved accolades. In the women's category, University Technology Malaysia's team displayed remarkable prowess and determination. Their relentless spirit and coordination proved to be the winning combination, leading them to triumph over their opponents and claim the championship title
The tournament drew a significant crowd, including fellow students, faculty members, and Kabaddi enthusiasts, who gathered to witness the thrilling matches. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the players showcased their skills, executing rapid raids, and delivering precise tackles.
Being the vice director, many pre-event plans, during-event plans and post-event plans were discussed and executed in order to ensure the best for the event. There are many obstacles as well in order to make this event a successful one.
Overall, this program seeks to celebrate the unique qualities of kabaddi while instilling a sense of pride in traditional sports among students of higher education institutions. By incorporating elements of competition, teamwork, and fair play, it aims to create an environment where participants can showcase their skills and sportsmanship, while also forging lasting bonds and promoting the value of physical activity.

Welcoming teams from various universities, we prioritized their comfort and convenience, providing seamless registration, comfortable accommodation, and nutritious meals. By doing so, we aimed to create an environment where participants could solely focus on their performance on the Kabaddi mat.
It was definitely not an easy job for me conducting this event, as this is a national level competition. There were lots of hurdles to be accomplished. I also had to guide all the other head of departments on their job scopes and brief explanation of what the crews have to do. On event day, I had to make sure the event runs in the right flow.
Overall, this program was driven by the desire to cultivate a sense of pride in physical activity and sportsmanship. I was able to showcase my Graduate attribute skills in this event such as team working skills, leadership skills, communicating skills and critical thinking skills
