SECI1013 - 03 DISCRETE STRUCTURE

Lecturer: Dr. Nor Azizah Ali

Discrete Structure or Discrete Mathematics is the study of mathematical structures that are fundamentally discrete rather than continuous. This course is important for computer implementation towards real-world problems.

This course is conducted fully online with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning processes. Sometimes my lecturer will provide pre-recorded videos before class and during the online class, we will discuss the answer for the exercises provided.

Throughout this course, there are four quizzes and one test in the middle of semester. I also need to complete five assignments which consists of questions to improve my knowledge in a group of three.

Throughout the course

There are a lot of things that I've learnt in this course. The relaxing learning process make me feel less pressure and my lecturer also is very concerned with her students as she will help us if we have any problems by replying to the messages as soon as she can. Some of the topics also are quite familiar for me as I've learnt it in secondary school and also during my foundation. Thus, I get to polish my knowledge more.

The assignments are being done in a group of three and although it is hard to discuss online, with everyone's cooperation, the assignments could be completed within the time given. The assignments and quiz also have been distributed well as I get to test my understanding for each topic.
