Assignment 3: Basic PC Assembly

Objectives of this assignment:

1. Identify and distinguish basic components of CPU
2. Understand functions of the CPU basic components
3. Understand the process to assemble a PC
4. Demonstrate the assembly of a PC

 

This assignment was divided into 3 parts:

Part A explained about the functions and the importance of the tools needed for PC assembly.
Part B provided a sketch of the motherboard. The functions of each components of the motherboard was also stated.
Part C explained and described the procedures for PC assembly with sample pictures provided.

My Thought :

I had learned the correct ways to assembly the PC after watching some videos. It was great that I learned about the importance and functions of the tools needed for assembling a PC, which I used to ignore. Also, I now understand better about the the types of the motherboard, its components and the functions.
