Python in Artificial Intelligence is a program that gave me insight into how Python works in artificial intelligence. In the fourth industrial revolution, artificial intelligence can be said to be an important tool involved in the development of digital technology. Therefore, understanding artificial intelligence is arguably a must. It is undeniable that in the future era, the probability of using artificial intelligence will greatly increase. Through this program, I can understand the working principle of artificial intelligence and how python controls artificial intelligence.
The graduate attribute that I get from this activities are communication skills, adaptability and global citizen. Firstly, I learnt communication skills is because I need to pay close attention to the speaker. It is important as I am able to gain the knowlegde from Dr. Nickholas Anting to increase my understanding. Second, I learnt adaptability is because the world is changing faster than we think. Hence, it is neccessary to learn new knowlegde and acquire new skills to adapt to the new environment. Third, I learned about global citizenship because this project made me realize if I could create a technology that would make the world a better place.
The program begins with some briefings and introductions from the host to the participants. After the doa session, speaker Dr. Nickholas Anting took over the program. Dr. Nickholas Anting introduced us to the theory of digital technology. Data is the new oil, he said, and raw data is obtained from the actions we take and processed by analyzing raw data to understand what is being gained from the input. Then, he said that digital evolution has made data more complex. He was showing us the progress of digital technology too. According to Dr. Nickholas Anting, artificial intelligence is the next wave of digital reality. Programming using advanced algorithms allows computer systems to handle simulations of human intelligence, enabling computers to interact with humans. He mentioned that they are the four keys of artificial intelligence, sensing, thinking, acting and learning. These 4 keys help AI in analysis and processing. Afterwards, Dr. Nickholas Anting showed us the application of artificial intelligence in industries such as Skanska, Amazon Recommendation System, and Fraud Detection System. He also showed us the fundamental ingredients of artificial intelligence. In the last part, Dr. Nickholas Anting shows us how to play around in Jupyter. He showed us how to use python to import data, view the data based on the selection, show the correlation, create the model and more.
Self Reflection
The impact of this program towards the global attribute is developing the strong commnications skill and thinking skill. Giving the full respect to the speaker by paying full attention when the speaker is speaking. This helps me to increse my understanding towards this topics. I had also learnt thinking skills as I am able to analyze the information I gained. Thinking skills also promote curiousity as I will face many issues when I am wanting to know more. Then, I able to learnt adaptability skill. This is because I knew that there the advance of the technology will change the world. Hence, I need to be well prepared to adapt the different environment. Moreover, I also learnt to be the global citizen. The technology we develop is not only bring the benefits to us but to whole the world.
From this program, I learnt how the python works in artificial intelligence and the tools to make the AI. This is my strength as I gained more knowlegde about the python and artificial intelligence. This program helps me to think outside the box so that I am able to improve the technology we had.
The challenge I face is the knowlegde and experience in using the python in the AI. Next, the infrastructure is the challenge to me also. This is because most AI based system need a powerful speed and performance computers. The last challenge is that am I able to analyze the complex algorithm so that I am able to transform it.
