MINI REPORT
The Raya Challenge organized by Kolej 9&10 during Eids Month provided an exciting opportunity for participants to showcase their design skills and creativity through the creation of a Raya poster. As a participant in the challenge, my role as a poster designer allowed me to contribute to the visual representation of the Raya celebration.
Participating in the Raya Challenge as a poster designer encouraged the development of my creative thinking skills. I had the opportunity to explore various design concepts and experiment with different visual elements to capture the essence of the Raya festival. This experience pushed the boundaries of my creativity and allowed me to think outside the box, resulting in unique and visually captivating poster designs.
Other than that, I learned to allocate my time wisely, balancing ideation, design execution, and revisions to ensure the timely completion of the poster. This experience honed my ability to manage my time effectively, a crucial skill in meeting deadlines and delivering quality work in various contexts.
Overall, the Raya Challenge event ran smoothly with joy especially it liven up the Eid month. Through this experience, I cultivated my creative thinking, enhanced my visual communication skills, and sharpened my attention to detail. The challenge also emphasized the significance of time management, collaboration, and professionalism in design work. I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the Raya Challenge, and I believe that the skills and attributes gained will positively contribute to my personal and professional growth as a designer.
SELF REFLECTION
Participating in the Raya Challenge as a poster designer has been a rewarding experience that has allowed me to reflect on my design skills and personal growth. Throughout this process, I have gained valuable insights and developed various aspects of my creative journey.
First and foremost, this participation has deepened my understanding of my own creativity. The challenge pushed me to explore new design concepts and experiment with different visual elements. It encouraged me to think outside the box and challenge conventional design norms, allowing my creativity to flourish. I realized that I have the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into visually captivating designs.
Additionally, this experience has honed my attention to detail. Designing a Raya poster required meticulousness in selecting color schemes, typography, and layout. I learned to scrutinize every element of the design, ensuring they aligned harmoniously and conveyed the intended message effectively.
