Graduate Success Attribute - Community service STEM program at SK Taman Daya
At 16 November 2019, A Carnival of Keusahawanan is conducted at SK Taman Daya, Johor Bahru. In this carnival, the school have provide UTM to make a small program for their students. So,around 31 students of Graduate Success Attributes UTM (UHMT 1012) have invited to do STEM program. I am the committee of STEM program. My jobs are prepared the materials and sample of models. I will make a sample of the models and teaching my team members that how to make it. The models are Pyramid Cup, Balloon Rocket, Paper Helicopter and Balloon Power Car.

Feeding the Needy
At 11 December 2019, we have the program about Feeding The Needy.We make this program at lobby, Ahibs UTM. Only 100 pax of free meal allocated at this time. The free meal is chicken rice. Around 12 pm, lecturer noticed that many students wait at the lobby. So, we fastly going dowm to lobby and prepare the meals. We have two group for this program. Group 1, members for registeration are Daniel and Nadathul. For giving the free meals, chicken rice are Eileen, Alya, and Nurarfah. The members for giving waters, roties, and fruits are Chong Kwei Yan, Chin Ye Ying, and Hary. The members for giving the survey for person are Reironald and Nurul Atikah. The members for promotes this program is Afifi. After that, we change the group 2 to process the program free meals. Members for registeration are me and Alissa. For giving the free meals, chicken rice are Afiqah, Nana, and Danusree. The members for giving waters, roties, and fruits are Ae, Malka, and Siti Nur Aisyah. The members for giving the survey for person are Reveka and Nabilah. The members for promotes this program is Rafi.
With this program, we know that free meals can help the hungry students to reduce theis expenses. I want to thank you for lecturer, DR. Marina that help us to improve the program. In this program, we become closely and helps other people.
Competition Of Badminton (Class 1SBSD)
For the indoor activities at sport halls, our class planned a badminton competition with classmates. So, we separate many group to competition with other groups. We meet at 7.50 pm at sport hall. Group 1 members are Adam, Farid, Nabilah, Nana. For group 2 members are Mikhail, Nada, Alya, and Husband DR. Marlina. For group 3 members are Azley, Daniel, Dr. Marlina, and Chin Ye Ying. For members group 4 are Rafi, Kajen, Me, and Alissa. For members group 5 are Ronald, Malka, Arfah, and Atikah. Last group is group 6, the members are Shah, Hasry, Chong Kwei Yan, and Afifi.
With this activity, we learnt about how to cooperate with teams and to take care our health with sports. Badminton is a good sport to caring our health. Dr. Marlina said that we can do the sport everday like play badminton, and the voleyball.

My name is Chee Sheau Wen. Some of my friends are called me Chee. I come from Sarawak. I am a 21 years old student from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) JB. I'm undergraduate management of technology. I am so glad to study in UTM JB. This is because UTM is the top-ranked universities in Malaysia. Why I choose to study in UTM. The one of the reason why I choose UTM is because UTM have provide 4 years college for UTM students. So, I will not worry about to rent a room at outside university. UTM is the best choice for me.

Graduate Success Attribute - Community service STEM program at SK Taman Daya

Today is 16 November 2019, today is Saturday. Our lecturer of Graduate Success Attribute, Dr Marlina Ali wanted to proceed the STEM program at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Daya, Johor Bahru. The Program will be accompanied with 34 students by UHMT 1012-46 – Graduate Success Attributes of Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS). I am the one of the AJK of Community service STEM program at SK Taman Daya came early.
At 9.30 am, the AJK of Community service STEM program at SK Taman Daya came early. We separate the materials what we wanted to separate to groups. And then, Eileen noticed the other classmates about meeting at the mentioned place on time on WhatsApp. Luckilly, I remember to ask Alissa that to bring the spunch hole. She quickly went back to hostel to take the spunch hole. And then, we stayed at bus stop kolej 9 (K9). We noticed the other classmate to wait at bus stop k9. At 10.00 am, the bus was coming. We check the attendance and noticed that the international students have no yet come. But a few minutes, they come and faster to meet together. We all to get on the bus and leave for Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Daya. Before depart to the aim, we prayed together.
At 10.30 am, we arrived Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Daya. That day is a sunny day and the hot temperature. We wait at a waiting place and looked around to the school. There have many students, kids and their parents or family. About 5 minutes, our lectures, DR. Marlina came and want us to a big shed. After we reached the shed, we saw many tables and chairs at there. I think that is for our team to do our STEM activities, because there have seven tables, and also we have seven activities.
At 11.15 am, we cleaned up the tables and started assigning job for groups. Group 1 is process the activities of Tissue Paper Parachute. The AJK of group 1 are Nada, Arfah, Atikah, Afiqah. Group 2 is process activities of Straw Circle Paper Plane. The AJK of group 2 are Aishah, Reveka, Danusree. Activity for group 3 is Balloon Power Car. The AJK of group 3 are Rohimah, Syifa, Daniel, Azley. The activity of group 4 is Paper Helicopter. AJK of group 4 are Nazureen, Amirul Shah, Alya. Activity for group 5 is Pyramid Cup. AJK for group 5 are Hannan, Izyan, Maisarah. Activity for group 6 is Cup Flyer. AJK for group 6 are Mikhail, Kajen, Adam. Last one activity for group 7 is Popsicle Stick Catapult. The AJK of group 7 are Rafi, Farid, Fifi
Firstly, it had not students to come and played. AJK came out and tried to push this program to the students of SK Taman Daya. Finally, some of the students came and started to try the activities. The activity of Straw Circle Paper Plane is not interest the students, so, the AJK tried to change the other games with throwing the cups inside the other cups. The most interest of students in activities is the activity of Popsicle Stick Catapult. Besides, we also buy the sweets to students.
These activities were including the skills that we learn in the class. That were Communication Skills, Thinking Skills, Scholarships skills, Leaderships and Teamwork Skills, adaptability, Global Citizen and Enterprising Skills.
In this STEM program, we learn about how to lead your team to be best and to cooperate between the classmates and also the others. So, we were so glad about we process these program and this program was successful.
Finally, we want to thank you for our lecturer, DR. Marlina that approve this program and process it. And also thank you for my teams members, Hasry, Nana, Alissa, Malka, Ronald, Nabilah, Chin Ye Ying, Eileen, and Chong Kwei Yan. They are helping to arrange the works, to communicate to other people, to rent a bus, and be my best team.

Reflection of opportunities and Strategies in Crisis
At 12 May 2020 on Tuesday, I had to attend a talk about opptunities and strategies in crisis via WebEx. A webinar featuring special guest speaker, Captain Cyrano Latiff and his Terbang & Teroka (T&T) Team were presented a personal “Living To Tell” account of an aviation disaster, different crisis points and the journey of survival.
Captain Cyrano was sharing his experiences about the airplane crash on the storms. I felt sympathize with the bad experiences of Captain Cyrano. After the accident, he ever obeyed the house arrest instructions for 2 years and also had adhere to a certain time frame to go in and out of his own home. I can’t imagine that if my life under the constant surveillance, what I will do and what about my feeling. But, it luckily is Captain Cyrano stay strong and release his negative emotions about the accident. Although the accident is about 20 years ago, he still not giving up on himself.
Inside this talk, he shared about 5 stages of crisis management based on the case that are detection, prevention, containment, recovery and learning. He also showed the photos about that accident situation. We can see that the aircraft flight manuals, aircraft engines sheared from wings destroyed. In this accident, many passengers injured and two of the passengers died from injuries in the hospital. Based on the accident, Captain Cyrano shared his experiences about the core issues. That core issues included investigations, prosecution add legal implications, and industrial and employment issues. He said that when the accident happens, nobody guideline. For the industrial issues, many aircraft flight manuals and engines are from Taiwan, American Syarikat, and also Singapore. Post-accident, Captain Cyrano are stay strong with his family and encouraged from other people. Captain Cyrano has survived an event that almost killed him and handled the crisis very well. He tried to help someone who are survived on airplane crash. So, his experiences, achievements, and skills lead people respect to him. Now, he become pilot again with Airasia.
Thank you Captain Cyrano for sharing his experiences about his lessons in the accident. I really respect to him. And then, I also want to my own opinion about the accident. That is not a person’s false, that also have many issues cause the accident and also natural disaster such as storms. So, we don’t deliver the bad news to other people. Lastly, keep our own good emotions and having a positive thinking.
