Graduate Attributes
- Thinking Skills
The questions given are based on problem solving in which challenges the participant to use the knowledge learned in programming classes and apply it on the question given. The questions used a multiple concept of mathematical and logical reasoning, not to mention a great understanding of programming languages.
- Adaptability
The competition is conducted within 2 hours, which is a short time for doing programming. This forced the participant to adapt to a very intense and stressful environment and learned how to allocate the given time carefully. Not to mention, this is the first time I participated in any programming competition, which is a very new experience.

Self Reflection
It is a very valuable experience to me as it lets me experience how a competitive programming competition is conducted. It also makes me realize that my programming skill still has a long way to go and there are still a lot of things I need to improve on.
I was pretty nervous during the competition which made it really hard to focus on the problem. The questions still look pretty unfamiliar to me, even though I coded a lot before. The question not only involved programming skills, but also mathematical and logical reasoning. I have to really slow down and try to understand the questions by breaking them into small bite and solving them little by little.
I do say it works out pretty well. Even though I did not solve all the questions, this experience made me stay humble and keep seeking for new knowledge and honing my skills. I have a lot more to learn and I am very motivated to do so.
