Mini Report
Jawatankuasa Kolej Tun Dr Ismail (JKM KTDI) held an annual event on 17 of October until 19 of October 2019. During this event there are a lot of sub-events or activities held by them. The event include the residence of Kolej Tun Dr Ismail but it is also open to other college residence and some of the events are open even for non-UTM residence. This event has a theme of "Kampung Resak, Riuh Sekampung". The theme was held in high regards through out the event. The multiple events include, Beyblade fight which was open to all people even outside UTM. The event was held in dewan resak and the event is dominated by the participant outside the UTM. On the next day, sports event was held. There are multiple type of sports such as futsal, volleyball, e-games and many more. Finally, on the last day we have stalls that are open by students and outsiders, haunted house and KTDI got talent which is a joint event with Aksara Resak club.
Self-Reflection
As mention before, this event is held on October 2019 which is a month after I officially become UTM student. During this one month, I only know just a few students which are the students with the same course as me and the students that I already know prior entering UTM. So, during this OPERA 2019 event I choose to get closer to the one I already know and try to know more people even outside my course, since this event include the residence of the Kolej Tun Dr Ismail. Throughout this event, I was able to get to know someone new because we have a common friend. In addition, I was also able to enhance my communication skills so that I will able to make a decent conversation with someone that I just knew and avoid silence awkward. For the conclusion, this event is a very good event since it is held early semester means that there are not many works yet for the students so they can enjoy their time and create memories together.
