Being born in this age of technology, everyday new products and technology are emerging, make everyday looks like Christmas. We took technology for granted, and never appreciate its importance, and never look beyond how it function behind the scenes.

However, this course, Technology and Information system has changed my point of view towards technology inside out. During my course, we are given opportunities to dissemble and assemble a desktop PC, where gave me a good understanding on components of a desktop PC, how they function, and ways to assemble them. Besides, in the class, myth has been cleared such that different information systems and the lifecycle of information systems was being introduced, studied, and revised thoroughly. Finally a clear picture of  technology had been drawn.

The internet that we deploy at our finger tips, is actually a vast network, a "Data Highway" which connect all around the globe. Realizing the fact that internet is actually a physical network left me in amazement: how great the technology had advanced, how technology had built, and grant us these convenient that we apply in daily life.

Career wise, with the generous exposure through visits and talks had given us a good understanding about the current market: the current market's demand and supply, to know our potential, to understand the required skill set in the industry. 

Last but not least, I deeply appreciate that this course, had given us the space to apply what we have learnt: from video making, product design, to E-Portfolio building presentations. These practical activities had gave us chance to "test run" our skills that had been adopted.
