17 Mac 2022, Persatuan Pengurusan dan Penilaian Harta Tanah (PEHARTA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, organised a programme called Bengkel Pemantauan Tapak Menggunakan Teknologi Dron on the Cisco Webex platform. The speaker for the program is Mohd Hezul Hezri Bin Hassan which is penolong jurutera (J29) & Pembantu penyelaras makmal harta tanah and Mohd Faizi Bin Mohd Salleh, penolong pengawai latihan vokasional (DV36) KUP. My role in this program is as a participant. The purpose of the activity is to let students understand how to use drone in site monitoring as well. The Graduate Attribute that is related is thinking skill. Thinking skills enable all of us to process information, recall facts and apply knowledge to various situations. The achievements of the program are I learned more about the skill of how to control the drone.

Self Reflection: 

I am grateful that I can joint and I also like this program: Bengkel Pemantauan Tapak Menggunakan Teknologi Dron. Through this program, I understand the importance of the use of drone in real estate. Without drone, some difficult problem occurs we can not solve. So valuer are compulsory need to know how to use the drone to do site visit. Through this talk, I also know the price of drone is expensive which can RM1000 to RM8000 and above so it is very important to use drone as well to avoid breaking the drone. Actually, this talk is not enough for me to use drone more confidently, I hope next time will have this type of program held again and I also will watch more videos to learn more about how to use drone as well.

11 Jan 2022, Tuesday, , Persatuan Pengurusan dan Penilaian Harta Tanah (PEHARTA) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, University of Portland and Greystar Real Estate Partners organised a programme called "Property Management Practice in the USA" on the Cisco Webex platform.

The speaker for the program is Mr Jesse Miller; Is a asssistant academic director (Property Management) in Portland University, Oregon. My role in this program is as a participant. The purpose of the activity is to let students understand the property management practice in the USA. The Graduate Attribute that is related is Leadership and Teamworking Skills. Leardership and teamwork directly affect an organisation's capacity to achieve its collaborate with colleagues at work to bring perfect result to tasks. The achievements of the program are I learned more about the importance of good property management in Real Estate.

Self Reflection: 

I am grateful that I can joint and I also like this program: Property Management Practice in the USA. Through this program, I have knew how the property management practice in the US works.  Throughout this program, I have knew more the current characteristics of the property management that was being implemented in the US. They have shown us how these characteristics of property management can be used by property managers. From what I have heard from the program, the management of the property in the US had really be on another level and it was so efficient and strategic as well. The knowledge that I have learned from the program is helpful for me, because I want to be a property manager in the future.

12 April 2022, Tuesday, Persatuan Pengurusan dan Penilaian Harta Tanah (PEHARTA), with the collaboration of Land Administration and Development (LADS), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, organised a programme called “English For Communication For Real Estate Students" on the Cisco Webex platform.

The speaker for the program is Dr Mazlin Mohamed Mokhtar; Is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). My role in this program about English Communication For Real Estate Students is as a participant. The purpose of the activity is to let students understand the importance of having good English communication skills in the real estate professional field, whether it is now in school or the future in the workplace. The Graduate Attribute that is related is communication skills. Good communication skills are required to allow others and oneself to absorb information more appropriately and efficiently. The achievements of the program are I learned more about the importance of good English communication and learned a lot of skills to enhance my spoken English.

Self Reflection: 

I am grateful that I can joint and I also like this program: English For Communication For Real Estate Students. Through this program, I understand the importance of English communication skills in my study and workplace. I have gained one of the Graduate Attributes, which is the Communication skill in through this program. Communication can be defined as the process of understanding and sharing meaning. Good skills allow me to have good communication and connections with my lecturer and coursemates in my studies and I can communicate well with customers and colleague after work. This is  important for me if my job requires a lot of face-to-face or phone contact with customers or my colleague. Actually I have problem with my English communication skill, which is lack of fluency, lack of environment, and courage to speak English in the public. Other than that, my English vocabulary is less it make me feel difficult to speak English as well. To solve my problems, the speaker encourages us to speak  English more. I will read more English articles, books, or  watch videos and movie to add my  English vocabulary as well as communicate with my friends in English to speak it smoothly.
