SECP1513-02 TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM

From the 1st industry talk, I become more familiar with the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). 4IR brings along of benefits toward human beings. It makes our lives more effiecient and convenient. I also feel very excited that Malaysia was in the way transforming to 4IR. In recent year, Malaysia’s government has invested heavily in the 4th IR with the goal of becoming a regional leader in this field. I hope that  Malaysia can be a strong nation which can able to compete with other nation in 4IR.

From 2nd industry talk, I realise that cyber security is a vital part to drive the 4IR in Malaysia become more advanced and boost the development of our country into an advanced country. Malaysia's cyber security department have provide many cyber security information, training and practices to who interested at such field. This may keep on producing more talent in cyber security field in our country and helps out country tackle any challenges face during transformation to 4IR.

This two industry talk are very informative and helpful for me to complete my first assignment in this course.

From the 3rd industrial talk, I have a great expose to the cloud computing and it's benefits. Cloud computing is one of the 4IR technologies that has gained widespread use over the last few years. It has been founded in order to meet the demands of this big data world and advance the development of 4IR. Nowadays, more entreprises are relies on the cloud computing platform such as AWS to get a variety of services to meet their needs. This enable them to ease their heavy jobs as cloud computing can speed up the time that they used to accomplish something related to the Internet.

From the 4th industrial talk, i get a chance to acquire with the knowledge about magical and potential of the Augmented Reality (AR). This technology can be involved in many sectors such as education, healthcare, social media and business. For example, with the convenience of AR technology, we can have interactive classes without attending to the traditional classes. Students can run scientific and mathematical simulations in 3D space and view the results.Undeniably, AR will become more and more significant in the future as it make our life more convenient.

This two industry talk are very informative and helpful for me to complete my second assignment in this course with my groupmate.

From the 5th industrial talk, I realised that high efficient in the network infrastructure is very important nowadays as it become the main sources to connect among people around the world. A strong network infrastructure enable people and domains to improve their efficiency, scalability and security of network towards business, education or communication. Undoubtedly, advances in the network infrastructure will give a high potential in our country's development.

From the 6th industrial talk, I get to know that the world is now entering the era pf 5G and Wi-Fi6. 5G and Wi-Fi6 have higher latency, greater capacity and wider bandwidth which are able to improve the effectiveness in the different fields. With wider bandwidth and low latency, it allow users to experience superfast speed and a reliable network. While the greater capacity enable it to support millions of devices, advancing areas such as IoT and AI. I hope that our country can speed up the development in 5G and Wi-Fi6 as it will be useful keys in the 4IR development in our country.

This two industry talk are very informative and helpful for me to complete my third assignment in this course with my groupmate.

From 7th industrial talk, I exposed with the knowledges about data visualisation and also types of the data, data relationships and chart types. This industrial talk also give me an oppoturnity to have a look around on Microsoft Power Bi which is a useful data visualisation tools for creating a simple and complete data interface or report. This data interface was easily understood and help a company to analyze and make better decisions. It also helps to speed up development of the company. To conclude that, data visualization was a vital tool for every different sectors' development.

This industrial was very informative and helpful for me to complete my fourth assignment in this course with my groupmate.

After the announcement of the UPU result, I feel excited and feel appreciate that I been choosen as the Data Engineering student at University Teknologi Malaysia. I will keep on struggling for a bright future. 

My goal/dream concerning your course/program

My ambitions is to graduate with a better result and become a data profesionalist in the future. In order to fulfil my dream, I will keep on struggling throughout the all semester.

My action/improvement/plan for improving my potential in the industry

I plan to participating in many of the non-academic program in order to improve my soft skills such as communicating skills, entrepreneurship skills, leadership skills and so on which will be very useful in my future employment. I also will keep on studying smart thoughout the 8 semester in the university for a better equipping myself with more hard skills.

My opinion on whether TIS subject contributes to my knowledge on specific area

On my perspective of sight, I think that Technology and Information System course will contributes to my knowledge on specific area as this course provide many useful information about various of the technologies thouhgout the industrial talks that were organized. It give me chance to more understand the new trend of technologies. I think that it also will be a good basic for me in this Data Engineering course and bring me towards the road of success.
