Law of Attraction

What is the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction can be understood by understanding that ‘like attracts like'. What this means is that whether we realize it or not, we are responsible for bringing both positive and negative influences into our lives. A key part of the Law of Attraction is understanding that where you place your focus can have an intense impact on what happens to you. If you spend your days wallowing in regrets about the past or fears of the future, you’ll likely see more negativity appearing, but if you look for the silver lining in every experience then you’ll soon start to see positivity surrounding you every day. Therefore, the Law of Attraction encourages you to see that you have the freedom to take control of how your future develops, shaping it in the ways you choose.

When you learn how to use the many powerful and practical tools associated with the Law of Attraction, you can start living and thinking in a more optimistic way that is specifically designed to attract even more positive events and experiences. Whatever you’re longing for, whatever your dreams and goals, the Law of Attraction can teach you valuable lessons that will bring you closer to your most treasured ambitions.

Computational Thinking Program

On 6th of December 2017, all the first year students of Faculty of Computing were instructed to visit the Centre of Student Innovation (CSI) to participate in Computational Thinking Program. Around 7.30 am, we got ready and left to CSI. We were very excited for the day to start with interesting activities. Once we reached CSI around 8 am, we waited to outside t enter CSI as the preparation was going on.

Around 8.30 am, we went into CSI.  We were given a short briefing by the CSI’s staff before our activities starts so that we would have a better understanding regarding the activites. We also understood the objectives, outcomes and flows of the activities. Then, we were divided into a group of six and each group were assigned with an opponent group for every activity. Multiple activities was carried out at once to make use of the time efficiently.

In total, there were 3 station games. The first station game for our group was algorithm. The objective of this game was to train the students who is the future programmers, to write pseudo codes in creative and simplified way with high accuracy level. This game involved two group of students. First, the lecturer in charged distributed three papers for each group (one with a blank table with special arrangement of pattern of black blocks, 2 with empty table), then we were instructed to design a unique sequence of instructions (using symbol) for the opposing team. They are to sketch out the pattern given to us according to the sequence we designed. In the end, we will have to verify the answer of the opponent. After that, we were then instructed to carry out the game according to the unique instruction the opponent provided.

Then in the next station, to have a better understanding on communication between programmer and the system, both of our team were instructed to write a set of instructions on how to make an origami paper plane, then we will have to read the instructions for the opponent team and the opponent are supposed to fold the origami plane according to the instruction we. And we had to check the origami planes if it's designed according to the instruction given. The game repeated vice versa.

Finally, we were given a chance to ride the multi-axis simulator that was designed by UTM. It looked amazing and certain lucky students got a chance to experience. Then, we gathered and we were given a speech by the CSI staff. I had a real good experience and learned a lot of things in the visit.

Degree is never a "Honeymoon"!

Look at my topic. I swear! Degree is never being so cool. It seemed to be cool only if you understand something perfectly and mainly you're able to answer you test. Cannot to be denied, time being with my six friends do always make me feel like a honeymoon time but reality is not that. Pursuing something that wasn't in my mind initially, is like a nightmare to me but as time passes by, yes life gets tougher but it is always interesting when you look back!
