Conclusion
After conducting this survey, we concluded several findings which can be referred back in our report. Undeniably, ONLINE shopping is slowly taking over the market of traditional merchants. However, e-commerce has many issues and problems which are required to be improved. Temporarily, both ONLINE and OFFLINE shopping methods are indispensable in the market However, we believe that with the rise of cashless payments, online shopping will become more convenient, more secure and eventually more prefered by the consumers.
PSDA Project 1
A Study On Shopping Preference of UTM Students (ONLINE or OFFLINE)
This survey is our first contact in the descriptive statistic. In the beginning, we were struggling to choose a suitable topic to conduct this project. While we were setting the survey questions, we were very confused about the range of questions needed for our further analyses. However, we managed to overcome the confusing step after several discussions.
Next, we found it difficult to analyse the data that we collected. After a few consultations with our lecturer, Dr Chan Weng Howe, we started to get some idea about the flow of analysing. After several meetings among our group members, we planned an even distribution of tasks for each member.
Although we were facing distance problems during this Restriction of Movement Order (RMO) period, we managed to keep in touch with each other using Google Meet and Whatsapp. Lastly, undeniably this project is a good exposure to Descriptive Statistics. I am sure that the pieces of knowledge gain while conducting this project will be very useful in the future.
