Introduction

The MINUTES OF MEETING assignment required students to conduct and record two meetings and writing meeting minute for both the meetings. The FIRST meeting was mainly to DISCUSS PRODUCT MARKETING PLAN BRIEFLY while the SECOND meeting was to REVIEW THE PROGRESS OF THE PLAN & DISCUSS THE IMPROVEMENT PLAN.

1st Meeting

Summary of 1st Meeting

- The product we chose to sell was SSD in HDD.

- We named our company as "Ace Tech".

- We assigned a job title for each person as below:

  1. Project Manager: Ariq Ghazi Rabbani
  2. Vice Manager: Tay Wei Jian
  3. Marketing & Survey Team: Adam Haqiem Bin Abd. Rahim, Radin Nazhan Bin R. Jamzulkomar, and Tan Jia Xuan

- We targeted PC users, gamers and university students as our main consumers.

- We decided to use advertisements like social media advertisement and promotions such as discounts, free postage and gifts.

- We decided to sell our product on online platforms such as Shopee and Lazada.

- We decided to use the crowdfunding method as our initial allocation of our budget.

2nd Meeting

Minutes of Meeting (2nd Meeting))

Summary of 2nd Meeting

- We revised our advertising strategies and decided to use "Social Media Ads", "Web Page Ads" and "Poster" as our main advertising strategies.

- We revised our promotions and decided to keep using the same promotions discussed in the 1st Meeting, which are "Discount", "Free Postage" and "Free Gift".

- We discussed the future of our product and we decided to improve our product as below:

  • Short Term
    1. Maximum Storage Capacity
    2. Processing Speed
  • Long Term
    1. Quantum Computing Research

- We discussed our vision, mission and revised our target consumers and budget source as below:

  1. Vision - Top 5 in the area of the external hard disk drive
  2. Mission - Continuously improve our product to make it able to compete with other competitors
  3. Target Consumers - PC users, gamers, and university students remained as our main target consumers
  4. Budget Source - Crowdfunding ⇒ Find Investment
