PSDA PROJECT 2 REFLECTION (SECI2143-05)

Through this project,  I gained better and deeper understanding about R studio, and how to use R studio for more complex calculation. I mastered new skills that surely will be useful for my future. By doing this project, I gained new knowledge and information about inferential statistics, and how to use the right test for the right variables. Through pre-processing data, I learned how to choose the right dataset with enough variables for testing. I get to familiarized myself with R studio calculations and representation for future references. I also learned a lot about time management, as it is almost final week, almost every subjects require us to do final project. I have to manage my time to make sure that i could finish all the tasks in the time given. I could do project 2 smoothly and better because of the knowledge and experiences I gained from doing project 1. When I first have to do project 1,  I have to learn and discover how to use R programming to code, represent our data, do calculations, and so on. But it really make things easier for project 2 as i have already know how to use R programming and we have great help from our lecturer. The obstacles I faced in doing project 2,  was when doing the project proposal, where we have to find secondary dataset from website. We have to make sure that the dataset we chosed is suitable and have enough variables for testing. I surveyed many different datasets before finally picking the final one which is the most suitable one for me to test. I really appreciate the help and guidance given by my lecturer in making this project a success. This project made me become interested in statistics. Doing the project made me feel like a data specialist. The project helped me understand better about inferential statistics, and the importance of statistics in our lives. Statistical approaches are useful in formulating hypotheses, evaluating them and generating new theories. Statistical knowledge allows you to use the best methodology to gather the data, use the correct analyzes and present the findings effectively. I am so thankful for this project as I am sure that the skills I mastered in doing this project now will be an advantage for me in the future.
