Opera 2021

1)MINI REPORT

Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail first virtual Open Day Resak (Opera) event was held on 20th May 2021 until 22th May 2021. During the event, there were a lot of programs that was held for the students which are KTDI Video Tour, KTDI Got Talent, Forum Agama, Virtual Explorace, Movie Night, Skincare Talk, E-games Live Broadcast and Photography Contest. During this event, I joined almost all of the programs that was conducted such as the virtual explorace, movie night, skincare talk, forum agama, and both the opening and closing ceremony. 

For the virtual explorace program, my team and I, CocoCrunch team actually won the first place for the game. We managed to gain the highest point beating other group which is 103.64 and won RM40. During the game, I really learned better about leadership and teamwork skills. There are few games that we have go play for the virtual explorace. Each of the games requires someone with the better understanding and knowledge on the game to lead the team. It also requires us to work together as a team to solve the problems and the questions that was given to us. My team and I work really hard together to accomplish and finish the games. Everyone played their part and role in the team, and therefore we managed to win the first place for the virtual explorace program. 

For the movie night, the movie that I registered for was All The Bright Places movie. It is a romance movie that was adapted from the young adult fiction novel All the Bright Places which is based on the author's personal story. The movie raise awareness about sensitive topics such as suicide and grief. As stated during the titles, "this video is dedicated to individuals who have been touched by mental health difficulties, suicide, or loss."

For the forum agama and the skincare talk, during the talks, I gained new knowledge and understanding from the talk. The topic for the forum is "Liberalisme Ekstrim Perosak Akidah Remaja". From the forum, I managed to obtain new view and understanding about the topic. From the skincare talk, i learned new facts about skincare and the importance of a skincare routine. 

All in all, the event Open Day Resak (OPERA) 2021 really helped me develop and enhance new skills such as teamwork and leadership skills, adaptability skills, communication skills and global citizen.

2) SELF REFLECTION

As a participant of the event, I sure did have a lot of fun participating in this event. The programs that were held during the week was fantastic and good learning experience. Apart from strengthening my graduate attributes, this event provided me with a wealth of knowledge. I also managed to fill my free time doing beneficial activities. I also get the opportunity to learn and improve my leadership and cooperation skills through the events' program, such as the virtual exploration, which requires me to communicate with my teammates while finishing the game. Lastly, by participating in the talks that was held during the event, I would be able to increase my adaptability to new knowledge. All things considered, it was a fantastic event. The event was really enjoyable and entertaining, the organizers of the event did a really good job!
